Glad to see that Hebert's Narrator isn't exaggerated here. Hell, if he did it like that the while series there'd be nothing wrong with it.

Was this movie animated in widescreen or animated in full screen then cropped?

I'm pretty sure it was animated for widescreen format.

That said, the other day I was curious and forced the film into 4:3 and watched some portions of it that way. It causes a lot of distortion for most parts of the film (obviously), but I was actually surprised how many times it fixed some of Yamamuro's disappointing wide-style character designs. There were actually a decent amount of shots, like in the final fight after Super Saiyan God wears off, where Goku almost looked like he did back in ~1995.

All modern Japanese cartoons are made in 16:9 now. The original run of films were only in 4:3 because those cels were cheaper. With digital technology--not to mention broadcasting standards in Japan--the price of cels doesn't quite matter in that respect anymore.

Color me interested. Can you provide a few comparisons regarding this?

I see it's £14.99 on Base.com now, that's the reasonable price that I mentioned it should be before. Still £24 on amazon, it'll come down though.

Who voiced Dr. Slump in Battle of Gods on the English dub?

Yeah, in a couple months' time it will come down. The Collector's Edition is worth getting for £17.99 but I just don't see the standard release very appealing to me.

There's always the DVD which costs £12.99 but if the customer's willing to pay a few more pounds then go for the Blu-ray.

FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I don't recall seeing him in the movie. Was it a blink and you miss cameo? As for the Saiyan renunciation, it's like "karaoke", "llama", and "burrito". Many words from other languages get brought into English and are pronounced differently than in the language of their origin. Even Japanese Americans say "kare-ee-oh-kee". (From what Puffy AmiYumi said, it's "kah-rah-oh-kay" in Japanese)

Senbei Norimaki (or at least his likeness) appears briefly, right when Shen Long is summoned. It's the farmer that looks over and is like 'What the heck is going on? Oh that crazy Capsule Corp.!'. As for who voices him...no idea.

I'm a bit relieved how Senbei doesn't have that mock Edward G. Robinson voice this time around.

Not surprised he was recast, he was voiced by Brice Armstrong in the DB dub, who retired before Kai even began.

So when do you think Rightstuf will start sending out copies of BoG to people who pre-ordered it?

My order still lists as 'On Order from Manufacturer', which to me sounds like they don't have them in stock just yet. That could change any time now though, and it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

The weird thing is my status lists as "all backordered" But I know I pre-ordered it like as soon as the listing went up.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
