All good points. However the original fight did involve Goku trying to figure out the source of Superman's power. It was at the end after having blasted him into the sun did he realise where the power came from.

There may not be any link to the original fight and Goku's line about a rematch could have just been for that video. If it's not though and it is a rematch connected to their last fight then I can't see Goku's knowledge of where Superman gets his power from not playing some part in the rematch.

Kal Kent was many times more powerful than Superman when properly charged, but was very little when compared to Superman at his peak as Superman Prime.

I like Death Battle. I like to see what research they talk about for the characters and I like to see the fights (especially the 3d style ones). But I don't care about the winner much.

It's likely, give it a couple years and by then Dragon Ball Super may have finished, Goku will have all these new forms and abilities and Superman may have also changed considerably.

Then they've got enough to make a third match. For that reason Goku might win this one so it was a tie breaker because surely they wouldn't do a third match if he'd already lost twice in a row.

Thought Armor Robot is stupidly stronger than any other iteration of Superman combined, even in terms of speculation.
