I'm surprised they kept all of Gohan's name in there. First time I've seen that; it's always been only part of each name.

All of Goten's name is in Gotenks.

Goten + Trunks = Gotenks

Hmm. Interesting, for the most part. The plot seems a bit weak though. I was hoping for the explanation for why everything was jumbled to be more nefarious, meaning a new villain. I guess it still could be, but nothing is pointing in that direction for now.

As always though, I can't help but question some of the details when I keep seeing them screw up name translations I know are wrong. Hopefully we get a Kanzenshuu write up after the staff get the magazine in hand.

Ok, so it seems us (the protagonist) and Pinijji (our best friend), who dreams about becoming the strongest across all eras, summoned Shenlong and wished for the strongest Budoukai to be held, which resulted in all eras being fused in the same world. The goal of the game is to win the "Jikuuichi (Time-Space Number One) Budoukai".

The Kaioushin/Boo and the Alien races are called "ikaijin" and "iseijin", which literally means "beings from other realm/planet", respectively.
