So the manga will get a good 7 chapter jump before the TV show starts. I gotta say I'm not quite excited for the TV show coming back as I am for the next chapter to come. I usually prefer the show to the manga because it was always more entertaining for me but with DBS its different. The Super manga is much better imo for a lot of reasons. It's a new experience for me, being more excited over a manga lol

I like where this new concept is going so far. I can honestly say it very well could end up my favourite Super arc by far, that is if they don't foul up and ruin it with more dumb ideas. The first arc of Super is still my favourite, but I think it could have been better. It has a good concept at the very least....

Well, DBS 2 could skip the manga arc (which i hope not) which would mean the it would be ahead of the manga again.
If it had a Broly retelling though, maybe the manga could keep its lead.

Its perfect. Just in time for Summer. April is occupied with too many banger anime (both new series and new seasons) so they could take the hype and attention away from DBS. October feels a little too late though.

Fingers crossed that it starts back up in July.

I'm really confused. On one hand, it seems to be the long awaited series announcement, on the other, people say it's probably the BD announcement that was supposed to happen in February (except now it's March). The again, the last time they've played around with tweets like this the Broly movie was about to be announced, so I don't know...

Yes, pretty much. To me (and at the moment), that bit just seems like a shallow attempt at keeping people on their toes. As in, it's there to generate some hype, but it's worth about as much as a zodiac sign horoscope.

The cat is already out of the bag with Super 2.0. as official licensors for TV shows have already flat out stated that Toei are producing more episodes of Super.

That statement from Toei was 100% damage control. I mean, why would the TV licensors, the people that Toei are selling the show to, lie about something like that or intentionally mislead people? Besides, in that same article they mention the episodes of Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō were in production, which was true at the time. So it was obvious they had information about what was going on behind the scene of some of the TV shows under Toei's umbrella.

There was really no need for this thread to be made. Theres been no announcement of any continuation at all.

It was just jumping the gun so now every little hint has people wondering if has to do with a continuation rather than just waiting for it to actually be announced properly.
