LOL, it's just the term I've heard used for people who intentionally freeze-frame shows and movies to point out crap.

With a mastering job like that, I'd be afraid of videos too.

No, it actually does look worse in motion. :P

I'd have to politely disagree with you on that Brad Redfield. I've watched my Season 3 Set about 4 times now, and the footage looks fine...well, as fine as the Season Sets can get anyway. It doesn't look anything like that at all in motion, that's like a brief clip.

Anytime the screen shakes or flashes the video lines go to hell. Yes, it IS that bad. It's even worse in motion.

Isn't someone supposed to be posting comparison videos of that scene? I can handle the DBox if someone can so the Widescreen version.

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

I'd make the comparison vid, but it'll take weeks until I receive my dbox singles for the frieza arc. :?

Episode 98, around 8 minutes 45 seconds (that's the time from the start of the episode, that being where the recap starts not the theme song).

I'll get to work on a video of it.

It's not a comparison video of that scene that we're waiting on. It's just a general comparison video Toei made of their stuff compared to the other countries who distribute the show's stuff.

From what's been said, I got the impression that FUNi's really the only ones who have messed things up a lot in terms of color and stuff.

Yeah, I'm not sure who's doing that. Heres my vid, and I have a high quality version if someone wishes to host (I really thought someone wanted/needed to see this in motion).

YouTube is pretty crappy though, but it should work.

It's something Corey was gonna do. His encoder isn't working too well right now but he does have the VOB files made up already.
