Everyone is curious about the new characters and all those things and I'm just wondering if bulma's sister ever got a family, if bulma is already pregnant with bra and if goten and trunks changed at least a little
I'm guessing no on Goten and Trunks growing, as we saw in the episode with Jaco, and it doesn't seem like this chapter or tournament is that far in the future from there.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Yeah it does seems it takes place shortly after "F", the first chapter talked about Freeza arc like it happened recently and then Goku's comment about Gohan forgetting his Dougi (I assume that's what they were discussing at the endof the film).
This chapter was freaking awesome. We got VegeBul bits, Goku outright said he likes ChiChi as his spouse (holy shit!) and Vegeta reveals a little more about their saiyan blood... and we will get to see more Saiyans! Yay!
I feel like the comment from Vegeta would be foreshadowing. I really hope we get to see a female saiyan in the chosen group!
Also... am I the only one who fears Goku might fail that test?
SO EXCITED
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

Maybe Bulma just got pregnant? Maybe it will be relevant somehow the way they revealed Videl's pregnancy. (Maybe Zuno can tell or something?). How much time has passed since RoF? Have they said? Right after that plot is the soonest she could have gotten pregnant since Vegeta was in Whis planet for like 10 months before that. (6 months until Goku joins him, plus 4 months of Freeza training). If it has only been a few days or weeks it would be too early to tell.
I don't think Tights has a family. I feel like it would have come up in "Jaco," since they show us Jaco's wife, so that would be a natural place to tell us what happened in her life. But who knows?
Maybe Toriyama hasn't submitted new designs for Goten and Trunks yet.
Toriyama commented about fighting neighbours Universe 6 and hunting giant Super Dragon Balls. All of this was more or less revealed in these two chapters. He also mentioned it being fun and simple. Hmm I think I may dial my expectations a bit now, I dialed it back for Resurrection "F" and it worked wonders for me I feel like a similar approach maybe required here.
It would be awesome if Zuno tells Bulma she's pregnant, or maybe she and Vegeta already know. Either way it would be really cool if Vegeta became super protective of her!

But he also said "They’ll yell at me if I give away too many spoilers, so I’ll keep the rest a secret", so he of course was talking about how the arc would kick off, avoiding any major development.

Ohh, i hadn't thought about that. Maybe Jaco's "underwear" line was hinting at bigger things.
I'm still happy with the U7 line up. We have Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Fat Buu and a new fighter. Feels fresh then having a team of four saiyans and one non saiyan character. I don't mind Gohan not joining. People are already bitch on how he got own by Freeza in ROF and having him join would make it worst. I also thought people want Piccolo to have a bigger role again. Fans felt like that he has became useless in the Buu saga and GT. Now he has a chance to shine again and now fans don't want him to join Goku's team .
I'm so desperate for this too. The franchise has been way overdue for some female SSJ's and this is the golden opportunity for it. Please don't drop the ball Toriyama.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

It's not like that, I'm happy for Piccolo, even though I don't know if I would really like he to get a huge power up to be on par with Goku and Vegeta again. But as much as I happy for Piccolo, I feel that his time was over ever since the Boo Arc and the rational choice would be Gohan join in.
