That's weird . . . in some panels (including one cover) showing U18 Bra, she is wearing gloves similar to Vegeta and Vegetto, but in other panels she isin't. Oh well enough nitpicking.

The only notable things about this panel is that Bra too is a Super Saiyan and a nice shot of Raditz. Oh and Vegetto finally does something. :P

Pardon me if I'm mistaken, but isn't the Bra of that universe Vegetto's daughter? In that event, I'd be more surprised if she DIDN'T turn Super Saiyan.

I'm still have a hard time trying accepting that "Stronger parents equal stronger offspring" logic behind Dragonball Z. But I was just simply stating that women in DBZ are far inferior to the male characters, it doesn't matter who their daddies are. But then again that just my completely unbiased opinion.

Of course they're inferior, but that's only because of the way DragonBall was written. The females aren't actually inferior; they're just not given the chance to prove themselves otherwise. This manga has chosen to take a different attitude, evidently.

But why would the child of a powerful character not have great fighting potential? It's the same as inheriting anything else, like a bad temper from your father or a predisposition to be artistically inclined because your mother was that way.

True. :P I dunno, I just thought it was a weird continuity glitch . . . unless she put them on to fight in this latest panel. I thought I saw her with them earlier . . . as well as the U16 Bra too. Both of them look identical too, even though U18 Bra was fathered by Vegetto. :? I guess it is possible but it is quite the coincidence.

For the same reason that the child of a guy who had his leg cut off still has two legs.

That breaks down with Vegetto, of course, since he's 'naturally' (as natural as a magically-created fused being can be) overpowered. But a kid of Goku/Vegeta/Krillin/etc has no guarantee of strength just because their daddy worked out a lot.

Really? By my count, not a single female character has won a match yet. In fact, both of them have failed in rather embarrassing and miserable ways.
But why would the child of a powerful character not have great fighting potential? It's the same as inheriting anything else, like a bad temper from your father or a predisposition to be artistically inclined because your mother was that way.
Because genetic inheritance isn't supposed to work that way. Building up your muscles and then having a child won't make your child muscular, or more inclined to be muscular, because your genetics don't change to reflect this.

Of course, in Dragon Ball you have ki. There might be more to inheritance than simply genetics. Inheriting the spirit of your parents, so to speak. Plus since Vegetto is a magical fusion of two people I guess that throws logic all over the place.

Real science takes a backseat to the logistics of the DragonBall universe(s). Gohan, Goten and every variation of Trunks were all seen to have great potential, which is thanks to their heritage. Even Pan, who got shafted in GT, is built up as someone with great hidden powers in the last chapters of Z.

It's thanks to the fact that they have Saiyajin blood. That doesn't mean their potential is higher depending on how strong their parents were at the time. But like I said, maybe there's something more spiritual going on than just genetics, too.

I like that idea since too many fans forget that this is a manga set in a mystical universe, where the mundane (genetics, technology, etc) is accompanied by the mystical. The training, ki itself seems to have a magical quality. "Chi" is after all a spiritual concept ... not to mention the fact that despite the existence of alien species and anthropomorphic people in Dragonball there are also "the gods" like Kaiosama. 8)

Dang! I find Bra very cute. What's more, she's freakin' sizzling when she went Super Saiyan. GT Bra is nothing more than a pile of junk except she dressed like a whore.

Yes. 10 years old who dressed an XXX costume. I assume Toei is pedophile idiots.

I dunno, man. The authors were pinheaded enough to make that shithead Broly a match for Vegetto.
They may be pinheads but you have to embrace the fact that Vegerot is not the Dragonball god. Between the manga and anime we do not even know how strong he is, Vegerot may only be a tad stronger than Majin Boo. As for Broli, well that just makes perfect sense because he is the Hulk of Dragonball. :D

The “pedophile” idiot in question is Toriyama, he was the one who designed her with said costume from GT.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
