This has been bothering me, but in episode 8, toward the end, when Nappa is destroying the Navy... where's the background music from? It sounds kind of like a Final Fantasy tune... either way, I find it really catchy!
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Where does that smiley originate from? I know I've seen it before.

Ugh... the awesome face? No comment.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
What? The Awesome Face is hilarious. If it's because it's commonly used on 4Chan, well... who cares?bkev wrote:Ugh... the awesome face? No comment.

As far as we know. Until we, if we even can, get things worked out with FUNi/Toei, this is the only option we really have.SHINOBI-03 wrote:So... will this be your last video on Youtube?

Are you going to be posting stuff to the TFS website instead? Or are you not allowed to do that either?KaiserNeko wrote:As far as we know. I think doing exactly that is what he meant by "only option." This promo video on YouTube seems to be the last hurrah for TFS' presence there.saiyangerl wrote:Are you going to be posting stuff to the TFS website instead? Or are you not allowed to do that either?

You should post one more video as a farewell.

Ah, ok, so when I went through the videos on the TFS website, I noticed something...
The sound quality is apparently higher than on youtube / the stuff I got with listentoyoutube when my flash-bearing computer was on the fritz / the crappy second-or-third generation reuploads of episode1.
Which, actually, seems to highlight recording artifacts I didn't pick up when listening on youtube, like how Vegeta and Krillin are clearly recording from inside an enclosed room, and I think I actually heard the "noise reduction water" once (I don't remember where, though).
Which isn't really a problem or anything, just that when this was combined with one of the first things I watched on the website being the deleted scenes and bloopers, it makes it harder for me to see the audio going with the footage.
(Previously I'd never had trouble invisioning scenes from the anime with the audio).
It's not all the time, of course. I did notice a couple places though where it seemed like something as simple as a bit of wind, or slightly stereo-fudged reverb, or maybe even fading in/out on some of the really-quiet-but-present background hiss for certain lines (I'm not so sure on that one though, ehehehe... ^_^ ) would do wonders.
I did notice a lot of stuff I didn't hear before (like the clock in the pendulum room, and more of what the random bystanders are muttering), so yay?
Now if I can just find a way to give back all that bandwidth I ate in the past couple days. :-/

So, TFS....any word on if you've decided on the new Theme Song?
...
...and uh....
...any chance we Daizex-ers could get a sneak peak when you do?
