Thank God it wont be a black entity or something fusing or taking over our Goku. I wonder who black really is, I would prefer the Goku from that timeline becoming evil, but it seems its a whole entirely different being, he referred to Trunks as "Saiyan" kinda weird if that came out from Goku considering he himself is a saiyan.

Its not but its also pure speculation either way. This Saiyan line could just be because he dosen't know who Trunks is (or at least not his name) or it could have a greater meaning, as always we will see.

Honestly we still know so little. Everything is speculation at this point... we don't know how Black came to be.

Thats a relief glad that shitty theory of Black possessing Gokuu is not going to happen.

I'm glad about that, too. The fact Black is already "Goku Black" in the future opens up a lot of more interesting possibilities than just being someone who would travel to the past and fuse with "our" Goku later.

The preview actually don't call him anything, Trunks just says "that person". And it's hiding his appearance on purpose, we don't see how he looks like.
But the summary on the official website just flat out stated he looks like Goku.

That's very true. I guess i'm in the minority that wants Goku to be possessed or controlled in some fashion. I know it's similar to Baby Vegeta but that makes more sense than Goku turning evil while also giving other characters time to shine. Plus the idea of this being taking out multiple Goku's in multiple timelines is interesting because everything always works out for the one in the main timeline.

Well actually it dose, at least to me. If you look at the top of the silhouettes head at some points it looks like it has Goku's hair.

If it is a Goku looking person then I doubt it is a shapeshifter because why would he look like Goku and even know who Goku is.
It has to be a possessed Goku of some kind fusion with a Goku.

I still think there is a good chance it is dead Goku but was either never dead in the first place or was resurrected. I also still think he is not the only 'Black' character and that we will see Black Vegeta, Piccolo and others later.

There has been no clarification on whether or not trunks has continued training. In fact, the fact that he was a sword implies he is still ready for threats. I swear if they actually reveal that he hasn't been training than that's just simply bad writing.
