Here's the way I'm looking at the Universe/Timeline differences:

Universes exist in the 3rd dimension, they are spatially separated. Timelines exist in the 4th dimension, they are temporally separated. There are 12 Universes in every Timeline.

That's the only way to slice it up that makes any sense to me. I don't remember anything indicating that they crossed some trans-dimensional barrier or something. And it wouldn't make sense for time travel to only affect one part of the third dimension, otherwise, what would happen if someone traveled to the past in neutral space?

But that's just what makes the most sense to me. I'm sure the writers aren't going to take very much care at all in constructing and explaining the relationship.

More NewType content was recently posted, but it was stuff for the Free! movie, the 2nd season of Boueibu, and the newest Macross.

#5 was the only episode in which the terrible management by Toei actually created an unforgivable mess, so they had to fix it. Fixing bad frames in other episodes is totally not the priority.

I disagree. I think episode 25 was worse.

Why would a evil Goku (saiyan) kill people? The evil saiyans we know (Nappa, Raditz and Vegeta) didn't kill randomly people for fun. They had some kind of interest. To be true Nappa was kind of a dick. Killing people to show of his power.

So what is Evil goku's motive to kill trunks and the rest of the people? It can't be just because he is evil.

(If I assume this is a evil Goku from universe 6. And not some demigra control thing)

There was a preview quote (I think from the tv fuji site) where Goku Black calls Trunks by "Saiyan", saying something like "Today I'll choke the life out of you, Saiyan!". So, it sounds like it's either possession or just an enemy that takes Goku's form. I don't think that's how an evil Saiyan would talk.

We probably shouldn't be calling Goku-Black "Evil Goku". I know I'm commenting on that aspect extremely late, but still...
It's the simplest theory, maybe, sure, but we should wait for concrete information, for example episode summaries (probably leaking any minute now), before jumping to conclusions. So far, the only names we've had to work with are "Goku Black" or "Black Goku" (take your pick, it's just like "Baby Vegeta" and "Vegeta-Baby"). No reveal of the name "Evil Goku" has been made.
With Goku-Black calling Future Trunks by "Saiyan", which reminds me of how Freeza would talk to his enemies, I don't see Goku-Black being a (pure) saiyan himself, and therefore he isn't Evil Goku. But, as I just wrote, we should wait for concrete information.

To be honest I'm really looking forward to Goku-Black being revealed to not be Evil Goku, just to see fans who have been fooled by clickbait and misinformation not understand what's going on, and the people who have misinformed not going out to say "I was wrong" at all. This is if I'm right and it isn't Evil Goku, of course.

I'm also holding my breath for Gokû Black's backstory to be revealed before I do anything further fan-art-wise with him. The idea of "parallel timeline Gokû with tragic backstory that slowly sent him spiraling into madness" is so incredibly tempting to me that I don't want to get too attached to it and then find out his actual backstory is something completely different so I'm just anxiously waiting around for the NewType summaries to come out so I have at least a slightly clearer picture to work with. We still don't even know what his full outfit looks like.

But in all seriousness, if Black Goku does fuse with Vegeta I feel like it'd be a reason why the Gods are getting involved, probably because it's something Goku can't take on on his own. (Same thing if Black Goku fuses with our Goku, and Vegeta getting help from Beerus)
