I think I may just read the spoilers anyway. Last time I decided to shut myself off from something was with The Avengers and I still ended up seeing spoilers which ruined it for me anyway.
At least I'll get to know what's going on when I go see it.

Why do you care so much? No offense but I hate it when DBZ fans get so upset over about this. Who cares if Superman is stronger then Goku. Why does it matter so much if Superman has better feats. this post isnt exactly about goku vs superman. But what i am trying is that goku is constantly being nerfed. If goku cannot move at speeds to keep up with whis because his thought senses cannot process information anymore faster does that mean that all this time goku was never even traveling at speeds beyond light? because though senses obviously cant process information anymore faster than light anyway. Also why the heck did goku feel pain when bulma punched him during the end of battle of gods? was this actually meant to be taken seriously. I am really upset because it just makes goku look weaker in everything that he has trained so hard to acheave. you just ruthlessly take away all his powers like that? i dont understand toriyama logic anymore. He completely forgot what gokus powers were! and he obviously never meantioned in the series that goku was FTL besides that one statement where burter claims to be FTL that some people assumed was a hyperbole anyway.
Goku is hardly nerfed in my opinion. Goku by the end of DBZ can easily blow up a Planet since he can already beat Kid Buu and Kid Buu almost blew up the Earth with a ki blast of the size of a foot ball.

You might be looking far too deeply into this. This type of discussion would be better suited in the power level threads that have been continuously suggested.

You take this way too seriously. DC Comics and Marvel use comic book science to explain any feats of their characters. When Toriyama writes this stuff, none of that crosses his mind. The scene with Bulma is there cause it's supposed to be funny. Enemies can continue to become stronger and stronger, but you're never going to see someone actually travel faster than light (planet to planet) or move a giant asteroid with their bare fists.

Nothing confirms he's getting a new transformation in the movie. If he does though I'd still say weaker considering Goku thought a basic ki blast from Beerus would kill him and Vegeta.
