ThegreatPirateKing wrote:By the way, if you UKers want to actually purchase this series at a cheap price, playusa has the both sets for £17.99 each with free shipping. Since that's just 1 penny below the import tax limit, you won't be charged extra. So you want to get Kai on Blu-Ray for less than £18, here's the link:
http://www.playusa.com/DVD/Region_1/3-/ ... oduct.html
$39.99 in GBP is around £25.80 (currently), I don't see how the UK fanbase can get it for £17.99 unless I'm missing something? :/
Even so, I think the free delivery would only be for residents of the USA as there is also an
international site available - maybe if it had said
free worldwide shipping as opposed to
free shipping on all items but I'm not entirely sure.
Axel music are selling them for £24.38 (blu-ray and DVD) and their shipping cost is only £1.98. I'll most probably be getting mine from there.

If you go on the PlayUSA website, the homepage lets you select a curreny. If you select Pounds and type "Dragon Ball Z Kai" you'll see the £17.99 price. I'm not sure if they do free shipping though.
The Play.com(UK) site do
free shipping outside of the UK!

The american website does offer free shipping, same as the UK site. I wouldn't recommend buying anything over £18 due to the whole tax import thing, though. There's a chance you may get charged for the import as I did for buying the second GT set. You may not get charged but there's always that one chance. You won't be charged on Kai though since it's under £18 (Same for FMA:B, Baccano the complete set and anything One Piece after Season Two: Thrid Voyage... that's been very useful for me!) so yeah, it's a great deal for that.

Awesome. Yeah I'll stick with the Amazon.co.uk marketplace for anything over £18. I think I'll pre-order DBZKai tommorw.
Just one question: Is the delivery fast?

It has the same delivery times as the UK site, meaning you should get it within 3 to 5 days after it's been shipped. That's pretty good, considering it's coming from America. I recieved one package late but i'd blame our post service rather than playusa. They also generally send BEFORE the release date so I usually end up getting them a couple of days before the American release date. That's always nice
If your item fails to deliver, you can contact them after 28 days about it and they'll send a replacement for free. That happened to me with a Baccano single but they dealt with it quickly (shipped the replacement the next day I might add) so I trust them a lot.

Woah! 3-5 days, that's amazing. I usually wait 10-12 days if I order anything from Amazons Marketplace. AxelMusic are usually good, but PlayUSA have a lower price and faster delivery. Thanks for the help!

Heya, everyone:
If you international folks feel you need a dedicated thread about where and how to purchase FUNimation's release at the best price, by all means go ahead and create a new thread for it here in the "Kai" section. Otherwise, please keep this thread on-topic as best you can. Thanks!

Funimation and 4Kids have announced an agreement to have their (presumably edited) English dubbed version of DragonBall (Z) Kai air as a part of "TheCW4Kids" scheduling block in the 2010-2011 broadcast season.

I'm now beginning to think that Funimation scored big with this one and DBZ Kai will be airing on Nicktoons, CW11 and if what Colleen Clikenbeard said was true Cartoon Network which will mean a huge resurgence of the brand and more merchandise for us fans.

I'm hoping DBZKai will be a big success because it could mean that the UK and other countries will get DBZ again. It would be so good to walk into a DVD store and see some DBZ DVD's.

It could also mean a better Live-Action movie.

Yep. They did rather well with
this great thing. And ANN said they're gonna start re-airing that Doremi show.
