I'm not that in love with the novel though. I didn't think it was the second coming of Christ like everyone else seems to think it is. "V for Vendetta" the movie looks better than Zack Snyder's "Watchmen."

My interpretation of Watchmen:

Civilians: Will you strange looking heroes save us?

Watchmen: We will. We'll save you, because we have a Blue "Glow In The Dark" dildo on our side. We'll save you...but you've gotta suck our dicks first!

Watchmen is a superhero mystery/drama story that focuses on the people instead of their powers (or in most cases, lack thereof).

hahaha I wouldn't be surprised, that fad is out of control.

Anyway, I just found the post amusing because evolution has a lot of changes so I don't see how that lives up to its comic form. I guess I should have just asked why Jappo thinks evolution is okay but watchmen won't make the cut?

I bet she's got a comic in that Disney magazine of theirs.

You know I thought her movie would have the potential to beat out the live action movie, but I read that the Jonas Bros got beat out on their opening weekend (they came out as #2) so I guess anything's possible.

Well, that's making the assumption that the Watchmen are a sort of Super-Hero team, like the Super Friends. They're not, not really. It's set in an alternate universe where ordinary people decided it would be a great idea to dress up in costume and fight crime. (Well, except the "giant blue dildo".) Well, as ordinary as you can get when you're dressing up in costume to fight crime. So some are generous, some are selfish, and some are...well, let's just say, to be polite, that some *really* believe that the ends justify the means.

But...hey, Dragon Ball Evolution! That's a movie, and it's coming out!

Ya know, I see a naked guy three times, but I'm not seeing the dildo thing. Besides, that does seem like a silly reason to hate a movie. Just like it would be silly if people on Watchmen message boards started calling Piccolo a "green Mr. Spock."

But Hanna Montana seems a lot worse than Lizzie McGuire.

Who said I hated Watchmen? I just find "Doctor Manhattan" to look funny.
