I think this could have more than one answer.
If BoG and FnF precede EoZ as we know it, then Goku should be able to trash any form of Vegetto.
If we follow the original string of events with the exclusion of BoG and FnF, then Goku gets one-shotted.

Filler Yamcha vs Paikuhan.
-SSG Kid Gohan would trump his weakling uncle and make him really regret even coming to Earth.
-MSSJ Goku tells Olibu to stick to opponents who are closer to his level of power, like Yamcha.
On a serious note, MSSJ Goku destroys Olibu with at the most a moderate amount of difficulty.
-Filler Yamcha doesn't realize that his victory over Olibu was merely staged by Krillin to help the desert bandit get over his insecurities while teaching him how to be humble. Not wanting to see his buddy get humiliated again, Krillin confesses to Yamcha about the little act. He also proceeds to tell him that unlike Olibu, Paikuhan won't be as willing to show his humble side. Yamcha laughs and tells Krillin that he's jealous because he was able to trash a fighter who is basically on par with Cell, who if he recalls was able to immobilize Krillin with one kick. Without wasting a second Yamcha charges Paikuhan and ends the day realizing that perhaps baseball may be a better fit for him after all.
