I choose the one that's not making fun of me. :P

What did you think I was going to say? :)

Fine, I took that part off. But its on permanent copy, in case I ever need to tell you to shut up.

I never know WHAT you are going to say
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

It's already been confirmed they are using the original dub names due to the still existing copyright on those names.
You get a good look at that, Piccolo Daimaoh? :P

Yeah, because if you post that, you'll totally win the arguement that we're having.

Yes, I did. You're were right, they are going to use the original dub names because those names are copyrighted. But that doesn't mean that can't change the names. They just chose not to.

Well, someone I just got a hold of someone I know who knows the super special awesome information that we're supposed to love, and despite my begging and pleading and offering things, I was denied with the same "Can't say, but you're gonna love it" stuff they've been teasing us with.

Although I asked if we'd learn about it in the first DVD/BD set, and was told "Not that I know of".

[THIS PART IS ME SPECULATING, REMEMBER I GOT PRETTY MUCH NOTHING OUT OF MY SOURCE]

So either,
A: It's something that just flat out doesn't happen until around Namek, or
B: It's something they were doing one way on the first set, and they got the go-ahead to change it, and just couldn't change it on the first set since the discs were already made.

From that, I think I know what it is, and I'm pretty sure this means that FUNi became able to start using Son's family name.
But that's just me.

I still say my extremely wishful thinking makes me wana believe it's a Freeza recast, but since Freeza laughs in the first set, I think that dream just died...

Well, its bound to happen eventually. You and I have been disagreeing since my first post.

Well then, maybe Brice Armstrong came out of retirement to voice Ginyu? :P

It would be nice is Frieza was recast, even if Linda Young still does the first episode laugh. It wouldn't be the worst inconsistency, and it's an inconsistency I could tolerate, and even be grateful of. I doubt it will happen though, oh well.

Perhaps it is going to be "Son", or maybe some legendary actor was hired to play some character from the Namek arc (Ginyu Force? Cui?)...

I Realized what it is!
Five minutes is actually going to be 5 minutes
or they won't say 5 minutes.

I don't think it's literally supposed to be five minutes (not aimed directly at you, I just see that stated all too often), especially when Frieza states that it's taking longer to explode than it should have.

Although it's certainly possible that they would remove the 5 minutes line, but after all of the hype towards a more accurate script, I don't know how I would feel about a blantant change, regardless of whether it's an "improvement" or not.

Dammit, I really don't want to wait until September to find out what it is... :x

They most likely are since it was said in the Japanese version.

Also, September???

Very unfortunately so... And even then, it could be a change on the third or fourth sets, which would be even ridiculously longer of a wait...

Although, the more I think, the more I realize that the removal of the 5 minutes line could be very possible, I mean, literally everyone seems to criticize that scene, fans and non-fans alike! It's something I could see FUNimation thinking would please everybody immensely...

Guh, this build up better pay off.

Kai's DVD version confirmed as 4:3 from Seán Schemmel's Facebook Fan Club!
Son family name would be awesome! They did it once in Burst Limit and it received a warm fan reaction... so why not?

Well, they didn't pronounce "Son" correctly in Burst Limit.

If Chris Sabat can pronounce Makankosappo correctly, then I'm sure they can tell Schemmel how to say "Son". Apparently, he was adamant about pronouncing Kaioh-ken correctly.

Agreed, but that's if they actually use "Son".
