It's a lot crazier than DBH to be honest, also does anyone else think the Green Kai might be related to Supreme Kai? Might be the reason for splitting up the fusion.

No because Toriyama started writing the Trunks Arc on Autumn. And he decided to have the color of the SSB as Blue back in 2014. I'm not saying it's impossible that there will be a white-related villain. But Toriyama most likely was just referring to Freeza at that time.

I'm interested in the possibility that Zamasu was somehow responsible for unleashing Black.

Maybe Black was some entity that was contained by Zamasu and the rest of the Kaioshins but was later released?

It's possible that Goku Black is Goku from Future Trunks control by Zamasu.

There's have been many dumb and interesting theories on who or what Goku Black is. But the hearth virus theory is the probably the most interesting one.

Do you mean Jenemba in Fusion Reborn? No, I do agree with you. When Black appeared as a shadowy figure I imagined he/it was some type of evil entity that came to be as a result of Android's destruction across the Earth. Which somehow allowed Black to "come into being". If that makes sense.

I like that Zamasu could be responsible for Black. Being a Supreme Kai, if he is one, he could know about evil beings who only need to be released in order to usher in chaos across the universe. Hopefully we'll find out more soon.

Zamasu looks interesting. I guess it's easier to just name him instead of saying "Kaioshin of X". We already know the Kaioshins of the 5 directions, the Time one, and one from Universe 6. Unless he's not a Kaioshin.

As interesting as the idea is, Toriyama probably doesn't even remember the heart virus thing and if he did, would he make it to be some kind of monster parasite rather than being a natural cause?
