That crossover was still technically an episode of One Piece and an episode of Toriko, and some of those styles (more of Oda's in the One Piece episode) seeps in because that' probably what the animators are used to drawing. I'm going to guess Super will at least look a little better than that most of the time, once whoever they get to work on the series gets into the Dragon Ball style groove.

There's always the reliable "Let's wait for VJump leaks on ANN.", but this being a tv series still has me expecting leaks to come in the way they do with precure.

Actually, you know they found the Go!Pri logo by checking some logo registration site. I don't have the url on me, but I wonder if Super's would pop up there.

I would assume it's the trademark registration they found. I've already looked; nothing for Super yet.

I looked up; October 29th was when they got the picture of the logo. November 27th was the website launch. Corresponds to April and May, so we are behind in that respect. But, we might get a site by the end of the month, maybe.

Another reason their logo may have come earlier: Toei's planning stages for precure start a year in advance. The reason they're doing a princess theme this year is because they saw how popular Frozen was a year ago (or so I've read).

I doubt Super's planning has been that long coming.

I'm fairly certain this isn't the case, but it'd be kinda funny if Toei's plan here was to play on the hype machine and give people nothing between announcing it and airing it, to drive people mad speculating.

The second sentence makes me wonder what untitled work is given he said something similar on April 2015. I can't imagine Shida would be storyboarding for a non-action series, either.

I'm going crazy thinking about the fact that we are going to have a new Toriyama villain and an entire arc in which to flesh that villain out. We may even get new other characters. It's very exciting.

With Toriyama's involvement, I think we could bet on having villain(s) far more interesting than most movie and GT villains. Toriyama has very interesting ideas that feel fresh even when he's retreading old ground. For all my disdain for the last two movies, Beerus is a fascinating character and Freeza's resurrection story was written the best way it could have. Even if Super will be stupid as all hell, I'm convinced the villain is going to be good.

Just as long as he doesn't end up somewhat boring and unmemorable like Cell, it's all good.

Knowing Toriyama, we are likely to get something original for the main villain of the saga then having another Saiyan like most fans are hoping for. Surviving saiyans would be a rehash of Radditz, Saiyan Saga Vegeta or Broli. You can't do much with surviving saiyans these days without rehashing them. Even Turles was just Radditz 2.0 in my opinion.

With Toriyama's involvement, we will most likely have: the ressurrection of all past villains; only characters development to a few protagonists; new and endless transformations; a few good designs against a lot of bad designs; people who are supposed to be pre-teens or teens will be kids; past characters being forgotten; not having a deep backstory to the new characters introduced.

Nah, just kidding. Pretty hyped for the new series, I wish only the best aspects for DBS.
