Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Julian/SaiyaJedi is one of the four people who runs this website (Kanzenshuu is a whole website, not just a forum). He currently lives in Japan. He saw today's preview screening. He probably did that to satisfy both Goku and Vegeta fans. Vegeta gets his chance to shine big time while Goku is ultimately the one who kills him. The problem is that there's one big plot hole in that. Vegeta should easily be capable of surviving a planet blowing up considering Freeza could on Namek and Vegeta is far above him in terms of power.

I'm talking about him surviving the initial destruction of the planet. Of course he'd die soon after due to not being able to breathe in space, but he should certainly be capable of surviving the actual destruction of the planet.

But Vegeta didn't win supposedly, and apparently that's all that matters to people. Doesn't matter if he fought well or had some moments, he didn't win. That would have been good enough for me if I was a fan of him as he at least had a bigger role, but main bad guy kill for some reason is all people care about.

Which is why I'm glad Gohan kicked ASS . Proud of him.
Goku needed this win badly honestly

Yeah but I don't like how it was at Piccolo's expense. That kind of blows that Shisami could somehow beat on him if he's beneath Tagoma. I like moments for characters I like, but I'd like for those to not come at the expense of someone else.

Not if Freeza blew it up straight away unlike on Namek where he missed in fear of blowing himself up too.

So after skimming the last 30 or so pages...

- The blue haired thing is likely a Super Saiyan God that's fully absorbed the power? I guess that would explain why both Goku and Vegeta have it, though that means even when Goku brought it back briefly at the end of BoG, he still didn't have it quite under control yet. I'll also be disappointed if it truly triggers his Super Saiyan hair instead of his base hair.

- Vegeta likely gets to 'almost' win, but in the end it's tossed off to Goku after all eh? I'm a little disappointed, but at the same time, that sounds like something that could have come about as a middle-ground between the concepts of Vegeta winning and Goku 'not winning'. Kind of a cop-out if so, but eh.

- Really hope that Freeza blowing up the Earth, if it's all undone, doesn't end up being the only thing to Nakao's comment. I hope there's further ramifications than that.

Of course I'll consider all of this to just be rumor level until we actually have our nice long synopsis from the site.

I don't think so, Freeza was already bruised by his earlier fight with Goku, and Sorbet was involved in the fight making Freeza gain the upper hand. They are probably equals in this movie, as far as I can tell.

That makes the movie sound better, especially Vegeta actually beating up on Freeza, still wish he got the final blow... maybe next time.

Yeah, sure does. What bothers me though is that the other characters may be shafted again. Most of the humans won't destroy some villains and end up getting beat up and Gohan just using his SS form, only to get knocked out in the end,

Hopefully I'm wrong though. I'd love to see some one-on-one fights with the humans for once.

That's what I find interesting. Then again, Goku was senzu'd at the end, so we don't really know if he got stronger himself after that.

Frieza doesnt have a senzu bean, so a tired Frieza fought a fresh Vegeta right off the bat so who knows + he couldnt survive or cancel the attack from Frieza.

If that stamina comment about Golden Freeza having a similar weakness to 100% is true, then yeah I don't see how that's so great. Winning only because Goku soften him up, before a supposed earth nuke.

Goku was winning too(I'm guessing) but got distracted by Sagotma. So I'll say it's even.

Before he goes Golden, Freeza gets his ass kicked

He goes Gold and starts winning.

It becomes clear that Golden Freeza has the same weakness as before(he has an issue with stamina fighting at max power)

Goku tries to take advantage of this but gets beaten by Golden Freeza (though part of it was being caught off guard by Sorbet)

Vegeta steps in and gives Goku a senzu and then fights Freeza instead.

Vegeta is winning but then Freeza blows up Earth thus killing Vegeta(Goku survives because he's over hanging out with Whis while watching Vegeta fight and he made a barrier)

Whis uses his power to go back 3 minutes in time so Goku can finish Freeza off with a Kamehameha before he gets to blow up Earth.

At least we know Vegeta didn't lose cause he was weaker then Freeza.

Reading up on the summaries, I'm glad to hear the whole blue Saiyan thing isnt a entirely new form like a SSJG2 or anything of the sort. That was pretty much my only concern. I look forward to seeing this either in my living room or the big screen myself.

I wanna ask though. Just HOW much of Jaco is CGI? I noticed quite a few shots of him as CGI animation.

Vegeta and Goku are probably equals at this point. They were likely slightly stronger or slightly weaker than Golden Freeza and were only winning and/or losing through various circumstances.
