What premise would you use to introduce a stronger villain?

I haven't really thought too much about how I'd bring some of the characters I'd like to see incorperated into a/the story, but off of the top of my head the best ideas I can come up with is someone goes to Hell and then starts obsorbing everyone, then releasing them after said someone gets out of Hell. Either that or some time-travel trick... even though that's been done already.

Some of the people I would like to have brought into the story are Hatchyakku and the legendary villain who trapped Rou Dai Kaioshin in the Zetto Sword and Janemba so I don't have much to work with.

EDIT: Oh yeah, to answer the topic question, I'll create an actual god like character. Some one who can manipulate reality itself. And for no reason at all he, or she screws, around with the main characters just because he can. Kinda like Mister Mxyzptlk from the DC comics. A villain who's pure motivation is being a dick, with super natural powers.

... Um, I ... guess it'd be a good idea to keep writing that thing I started...

Of course the giant green pile of jello wasn't a threat to humanity, but it sure left Goku and Vegeta in a crappy situation! (If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'll feel a little less self-centered. XD )

Some kinda ninja that abuses Saiyans in their sleep?
Someone smart enough to blow up the Earth while noone's looking?
... Wait, a villain that might actually lose eventually.

That seems pretty plausible, actually. A wizard/djinn/demon/whatever straight out of the Demon Realm. At some point it'd use its powers on itself to pull a Garlick Jr and become beefed up.

Something like this would fit beautifuly in Dragonball's tone. Excellent idead, Scarz.

Maybe have a contagious disease that afflicts Saiya-jin and have them out of action, with the other guys having to take over. Like Goku with the heart virus, but with all the Saiya-jin.

I think the newest saga should surround the 26th Tenkaichi Budokai. It's like a normal Tenkaichi Budokai, except with one twist... the grand prize is not 100,000 zenni, but something much more valuable: Videl's hand in marriage. This would provide a realistic excuse for the enemies being so strong, since everyone's desperate for some Videl loving; the idea of sex with Videl could make Pilaf stronger than Majin Buu. It's an epic tournament full of lies, deceit, slander, deception, and stunning battles, a story filled with ten thrills per second, but in the end Gohan's love triumphs above all and he ends up winning the championship. This then segues into the next part of the saga, 31,058 episodes chronicling Videl and Gohan's honeymoon and the remainder of their married life.

I think this would be a decent story arc and a logical end to the saga of Dragon Ball.

Thing is, I just can't see Videl agreeing to a tournament like that. She's already admitted she loves Gohan, and with a personality like hers, I just don't see her even remotely letting her father ruin that.

However, the 30K episode honeymoon arc? I am COMPLETELY on board with that.

I'd like to see something where Hercule/Mr. Satan ends up actually learning to use his ki and flying/using energy attacks. Like while the dragon is summoned or something Videl wishes her father could do those things and he gains the ability to understand how to fight better... but still is clumsy. So he "accidentally" can keep up with the enemies.

I think it would be funny if it focused on this and had Goku and the rest be background characters while Mr. Satan actually is able to take on the newest enemy somehow or another.

It's the kind of unexpected twist that Toriyama likes to do. Like have someone from Frieza's family show up and scare everyone but he turns out to be a good guy.

In a more serious tone the Demon Realm plot is the only idea that could actually work and could be different than anything we saw.

Set the story 5 years after the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai the new Demon king is born or whatever and he is as strong as Shin Buu. Everybody is still as powerful as before except Uub is as strong as SSJ3 Goku (now with fully control over the stage too). Of course the only guy capable of defeat the Demon is Gohan but he and Videl are in honeymoon and don't give a damn if the Universe is destroyed.

Then after Goku being beaten to death by the Demon only Uub can destroy the sucker. After shave his hair Uub completely outclasses the Demon and thus restore peace to the Universe.

I mean, after having a villain that requires a genki-dama made up of energy from the entire universe I'd say you've kind of blown any possiblity of introducing stronger enemies.

How would you beat it? Create a genki-dama by drawing energy from the entire universe as well as every parallel dimension and alternate timeline?
That would be insane.

Unless you saw/read Yu Yu Hakusho they had things going on in the Makai plane all the time.

If a new villain ever showed up, he wouldn't necessarily have to be stronger than the main heroes. In fact, I think it would be interesting if he shared a similar overall power level with the Z Fighters, but his actual skill as a fighter far surpassed all of them. Imagine a fighting genius knowledgeable in every martial art in the universe, so skilled that he could give even SSJ3 Goku or Mystic Gohan trouble without having any kind of transformations or anything. This would make for some very interesting battles I think.
