Unexpected DB-Related events in your life

A black cat managed to find her way onto my windowsill, I was hoping she'd give me a magical locket and a tiara but unfortunately she just ran away. I guess I wasn't the moon princess after all.
Oh wait Dragonball....

This girl I know reminds me a LOT of Goku. She's a teenager but acts incredibly young at heart. She's naive and goofy too. Not to mention it takes a lot for her to dislike somebody and even then she's always willing to give them a second chance.

I guess that makes me Kurririn, at first she really annoyed me with her goofiness and ignorance but we came to be very close friends. We make a perfect comedy duo with her being silly and me being the straight man. She does some embarrassing things but that's just her and I came to love waiting for the next surprise. She's also always off doing things and is hard to get a hold of.

My school counselor sounds so much like Funimation's Captain Ginyu it's not even funny. I had a hard time taking his seriously when at every moment I expected his next words to be "CHANGE NOW!"

After many failed attempts at beating Seth in Street Fighter IV, my friend gave me a try. I used my best character, Ken. So I won Round 1 with a Perfect. Then we had a hard fought Round 2 with Seth winning. So for Round 3, it was another hard fought battle, but Seth was clearly going to be the winner. My friend, whose 24, the same as me, got up and yelled, "Quick! Everyone! Share your energy with him!"

So everyone aimed their hands at me, similar to how everyone did so for Goku in the first Broly movie. And it must have worked in some way, because I came back and defeated Seth with a Shinryuken.

My communication professor has a freebie question on his exams. It went "True or false, this university has over 9000 students" Then I busted out laughing at the 9000 part. Then everybody looked at me like I was insane.

My best friend since 4th grade has always been under average height, he's about 5'3. In 11th grade he shaved his head and now he looks just like Kuririn

. He even mentioned that when he first did it

Also, I think I had a maths question that the teacher was asking, and I said "IT'S OVER 9,000!" and the teacher heard and she said, "What?"

I have a friend that quotes lines all the time at school, a lot of them being DB-related. I was trying to play a trick on him, and he caught my arm and said "You have underestimated my power", a line said many times in Dragon Ball Z. In reply, I said, "WTF, who are you, Vegeta?"

I work at an animal rescue for dogs and cats and we had a heavily pregnant cat come in who had been shot by some small-pricked yobs (Excuse my language) with an air rifle. Thankfully she gave birth to the kittens a few days later, and she than made it through the operation to remove the gun pellot.
It was quite sick, It wasn't like she was doing any harm. Some people are just cruel and idiotic.

It's really odd for this type of topic to appear as I actually did experience something DBZ related within the last 2 weeks.

I'm in my front room with the window open and outside I hear somebody shouting literally at the top of their lungs (the kind of shout that hurts your throat after), this boy was going mad, he was shouting 'wait till I get you I'm gonna stab you!' 'I'm gonna come in your house and batter you', and other random violent threats, and what shocked me is when I heard him shout my name, that's when I look out and tried to see who the fuck this is, where I live is a place with lots of flats, corners and alleys, (CR4 1XH, street view it and see) so I couldn't make out exactly where this was happening, it was loud enough to be any of the many alleys around my house, this gave me a very 'Cell 2nd form shouting when he can't find No.18' vibe, especially since it was my name he was shouting, even though No.18 can see Cell in the sky and I couldn't see this person, I still got a similar feeling, anyway, after 5 minutes of me still gawking out the window (still hoping to see some drama on the block) I saw two boys walking round my corner and it was them, I heard him say 'are you sure we got the right house?' as they walked by, that made me wonder if it was really me they were after, a lot of bullshit goes round here and people like that are common, other people tell them where where your house is, and they come.

Man what neighbourhood do you live? That sounds pretty chilling. I see stories like this on the news all the time. (When my parents are watching

) You should really be careful, There is lots of real weirdos about these days. - You should have chucked a huge waterballoon out of the window onto them and shouted... "Spirit Bomb!" - Okay... Don't actually do that, I was joking.

People like that need to get the death penalty. Seriously. I despise people who intentionally harm animals, especially in extremes like that, there's no freaking point to it, it's barbaric, it's sadistic, and it's plain fucked up. Okay, I'm done.

And in regard to the topic, I had a similar experience that Chu had. Though in my case, I was helping a friend lift a couch. It was actually fairly small and I randomly blurted "Oh I'm not ready for this", he got the joke and said "You are the only one who can do it". That was two days ago in fact, I love that he got it and had a counter. Course it doesn't help that he made me lift it by myself for bringing that up in the first place.

Today, my English teacher was talking about Greek gods and stuff. At one part, she was like "You don't wanna piss off the goddess of war or the goddess of love", so I immediately thought of "Don't piss off the god of love!"

So, I was at Wal-Mart in the toy aisle (looking for a Green Lantern figure, but I ended up getting an SSJ Gohan figure) and I heard a the following coversation

Kid: Mom, what's this?
Mom: Dragonball Z
Kid: Who's this?
Mom: I don't know, son, I don't watch it.
Kid: What does it say?
Mom: (reading) Su-per Sigh-an Ve-get-a (that's with the "jeet" in Vegeta sounding like "get")
Kid: And what about this one?
Mom: (reading) Super Sigh-an Goku
Kid: That's a funny name

I thought it was pretty funny and I almost corrected her pronunciation of Vegeta
