Oh oh! What if the 4th game had the possibility to collect the Earth Dragon Balls, the Namek Dragon Balls and the Black Star Dragon Balls simultaneously, so if you had all of them, you'd get 3 new options on the list, Shen Long, Polunga, and Red Shen Long. :D

And of course there'd be 3 meters showing which balls you have too.

In all honesty, the Sparking series has really ran its course, the sequels feel the same to me, it's the same clunky game, with a few new gameplay elements.. and a LOT of new characters. A needless amount actually, who plays as Slug, or Spopovich, talk about hitting the bottom of the barrel.
Seriously, we got a trilogy of the games, just leave it at that.

And if you don''t collect all the Black Star Dragon Balls again after making a wish. Within a set period of time to simulate the earth been blown up, It erases your save file!

^That's actually pretty clever.

But for the most part, I agree with Rory. Unless they were to add in a new kind of RPG-like/free-roaming storymode with some original stories and some kind of create-a-character, then there really isn't anything left to do.

It's called Infinite World. The only thing that makes it different from your vision is that Dragon Rush is gone.
Well, I know that. But, Infinite World isn't really what I would call a true "Budokai 4"... It's basically just a Shin Budokai 3, save for the fact that there's a few new moves, new characters, new cinematic moves, etc. But it was mainly just a letdown. I just want a re-branded Budokai 3 with more fights, more characters, with more unique movesets... and please, for the love of all humanity, none of that damn "Aura flying" crap. But I must admit, Raging Blast is really getting me hyped up. Even more so than I was when I heard about Burst Limit and Infinite World... two games that promised so much, yet turned out to fail. At least, to me. :P

I'll have to disagree with you there. Just because of the fact they added some gimmicks from the Shin Budokai games to Infinite World, doesn't really means it's automatically a "Shin Budokai 3". To me, it really is an upgraded Budokai 3. The Shin Budokai games and Burst Limit follow that alternate fighting style with light and heavy attacks. Infinite World follows the original punch and kicking gameplay with some features from the recent games before it.

Believe me, there are far worser fighting games than that. Have you ever played "DBZ Ultimate Battle 22"?

No, play "DBGT: Final Bout". It's a strong competitor.

Woah, Final Bout is FAR worse than Ultimate Battle. Though they both pale in comparison to Taiketsu *shudders*

Am I the only one who hates Super Butouden (the first one)? Also, as much as I love Advance Adventure, the fighting mode feels kind of lame. Taiketsu really was a piece of work though, as were Final Bout and UB22. Take your pick. At least with UB22 you can kind of pretend your playing Shin Butouden to make yourself feel better.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.
