Technically, I met my boyfriend because of Dragon Ball (on alt.fan.dragonball, forever ago), but I don't think he was ever as big of a fan as I was, and he'd already mostly lost interest by the time we met, anyway. We occasionally watch some of the movies and stuff together, though. Which reminds me, I still need to show him that old Chinese live-action movie.

My girlfriend doesn't care for the Dragonball. I forced her to read the first issue but I guess she didn't enjoy it much; her only comment was "Goku is cute and the story was....meh" when I asked her what she thought of it. She's really just into the romance genre of anime and manga so I guess I was asking for miracles.
One of these days I'm going to talk her into playing Budokai with me though.

Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

It's pretty funny how I can only find female friends who are into DragonBall. I think guys of this forum would love me as a girlfriend though =P Hahaha![]()
You love Dragon Ball and you're quite the looker from what I remember, what's not to like?

My girlfriend's into anime. She watches DB(Z) from time to time, but from what I can tell I'm a more "fanatic"... fan (in contrast, I'm not a big "anime geek" but I do like Dragonball). Both of us watch the abridged series and like it enough to talk about it. On another forum we go to, she decided she wanted to have an avatar of Bulma giving the finger, so I played along and used one of Vegeta doing the same.
She seems to get annoyed at me if I go into a long-winded discussion about some DB(Z) related thing, though.

Does anybody on here ever use social networking sites like Twitter or facebook? We could all link up on there and see our pictures!

LOL. I'd love to get a boyfriend. Been single for a while now. It has its perks, but so do having someone to watch DBZ with. Hee. I'd jump at a guy who could do that and put up with a gal who loves karate and boxing.Innagadadavida wrote:Well with the success rate so far, Daizex should consider starting a match-making service.
Ladies! I'm single. Form a line to the right for make-outs. And guys, form a line to the left for high-fives.
I did have one ex who did like DBZ. We're still good friends.
I sure do:saiyanprincess wrote:Does anybody on here ever use social networking sites like Twitter or facebook? We could all link up on there and see our pictures!![]()

Girlfriends and DBZ?
Heck I feel like I'm the only Dragonball fan in my area.
I think the largest group of Dragonball fans in the Netherlands live either west or south west.
I have yet to meet an active Dragonball fan here in the north.
My friends used to like it and still know what it is about, but they only went with the hype and threw everything away as soon as it wasn't "hip" and the show didn't air anymore.
As far as girls go.
Half of them don't now what Dragonball is and the others have a vague memory.
Some did have problems with Krillin and Bardock looking at us from the television.
They're now in the closet

It probably has something to do with your affinity for Vegeta.saiyanprincess wrote:All the guys I seem to meet are just idiots who only want one thing... I'm always attracted to the bad guys! Why!!!??
