Rationalize filler!
That's basically the gist of it. I know it isn't realistic, but...:
1. It's DBZ.
2. It's filler.
3. It's DBZ.
Kuririn and the others all trained under Kami-sama, same as Goku, and multiplied their power by a thousand in three times less the time it took Goku to improve hardly a third. I can't really say this is much too different from that.

Okay, ugh, I got one. The whole Garlic Jr. thing...Son Goku found Gohan's dragon ball right after the ordeal with Garlic Jr. Then everyone had a sudden case of amnesia. And the original Garlic who wreaked havoc on the Earth was buddies with Piccolo Daimaou, seeing as how supposedly both of them caused dark ages for Earth after Kami became...well, Kami.

He's right. I have so many questions about that thing it's annoying. I pretty much lost interest after the Super Saiyan 4 thing. But I only liked it for 2 reasons. DBZ ended with Goku training Uub and that's where this one began. And the fact that it was an attempt to keep the masquerade going. Besides that, didn't Pilaf, Shu, and Mai die near the end of DB. In the English dubbed version, from what I can remember, Piccolo Daimiou had them tossed off of the plane he was on, and they couldn't have survived that since they hit hard ground. ... Unless they did in the Japanese version
Gerry Dragan (yes, that's my real name.)
I meant the training on his spaceshipCaracal wrote:Actually he finished training. King Kai forgot to calculate that Goku would have to go across Snake Way again.El_Diablo wrote:They had just arrived while Goku was in the middle of Training.
And in Blue Water's English dub it shows Pilaf and friends getting up after being thrown out of the airship (but it might have been filler).
Where's the beef?

In the manga, when they fall from the plane, they're shown to still be alive a few panels later, just banged up from the landing. And of course, in anime canon, they did make those appearances at the end of DB, during Gokuu and Chichi's adventure.Dragon wrote:Besides that, didn't Pilaf, Shu, and Mai die near the end of DB. Goku only trained on the Space pod to Namek for 6 days, the power increase was from constantly upping the Gravity. In that Time, the Humans arrived on Kaio-sama's planet. They were only there for like...5 or 6 days before the Ginyu's would have arrived, and Goku was there for about a quarter of a year. That Filler is just...impossible.
I can try to Rationalize Vegito vs. Buuhan with the fact that Vegeta had a very low SS Multiplier since he trained his Base a ton and that crossed over to Vegito, so that his Multiplier was less than 5, so that he went from close to Buuhan to way above without it being too ridiculous.
Although, nonetheless, its pretty stupid.

Maybe, eh... they trained with weights, like Buu Saga Goku? That's the same thing as training with gravity.Duo wrote:Goku only trained on the Space pod to Namek for 6 days, the power increase was from constantly upping the Gravity. But, there's the problem of the filler actually showing their training, and it was the same one that Goku got...
