Where's this pic come from?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Nope. The shots we get are of Goku arriving on the battlefield just as Nappa has put everybody down, then Goku and Vegeta fight a little, and then the last shot of shocked Vegeta merges directly into the Namek flashback. The Kamehameha/Gyallic duel is never alluded to, so the shot isn't from there.

What game could it be from?

It's not from Shin Butoden or Ultimate Battle 22, as those were basically just shots of the cast. It also isn't from Final Bout. I know it isn't Budokai 2, and I'm fairly certain it isn't Budokai 3 or Sagas. It's not from Dragon Soul or the 2008 reanimated Cha La (or the special's ending either). Could it be from one of the movies??
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

It's from a poster. I have it myself. And that scan is about 90% of the poster.

That Goku's shot comes from a commercial of Dragon Ball Goku Hishôden, a video game for Game Boy.

Anyone know where this is from? I'm pretty sure it's an official cel. So, please help?

Judging by the color differences as well as size difference between the right arm and the rest of the picture, its a composite of two shots. It's no cel as cel's, I don' believe, have film grain on them.

Ah, my bad. Sorry about that.

Either way, the juxtaposition of that arm to the body just looks really awkward to me. The tones are really off as well as the scale. I understand perspective, but there is no way his arm would be that large when so close to his body.

I think it's two real pictures put together as such, myself. Not quite sure why one would make it though. *shrug*

It's two cels on top of eachother. The Trunks cel, and his arm which probably moves forward because of the peace sign, which would explain why it is on a different frame. That's all there is to it.

But... where IS this scene from?

Wow...I don't know where this comes from! Not from any of the Jinzonengen episodes, because they didn't look like that. It's not from Movies 7 or 9.... So where the hell do these two images come from? :?

HQ is an abbreviation of "High Quality", so you don't need to add another quality after HQ. :P

I think that the base picture is from a Videogame intro, since it seems like that kind of art, a fresher type.
The hand is probably from some poster or a picture, where Trunks says goodbye or something, or maybe when he defeated Freeza?

No, I don't think he did the Peace sign when he beat Freeza. He just looked up to everyone and said "Hey, guys. let's go wait for Son Goku to arrive!" or something like that.

EDIT: Wasn't there an image somewhere that has DBZ characters spinning in a circle, in a rapid pace? Trunks is in the perfect pose for that. The background was black, and all the person had to do was cut out Trunks, and put him in the new background.

Yup, he definitely didn't.
I don't think this is from the series at all... more like from a game, advertizement or a movie.

"ดราก้อนบอล" is a Thai word which means Dragon Ball. I guess the image is a cover of some Thai manga or anime release.
