Oh my God this! I think you're the first person I've seen share that view. Gohan bugged the crap out me at the Cell games.

It's even worse when you hear him whining in the dub. Not only are the things he says annoying and whiny, but his voice is all screechy and whiny. I'm not sure if it's good acting or bad acting...

I've never really watched the anime. It just really annoyed me that he refused to fight back, and then later just gave up after Cell injured him.
