More VIZ Delays? God Why?!

I purposely refuse to but the Vizbig's. The DBZ one the censorship doesn't bother me, but with DB I think they censored too much even for a teen rating. I'll stick to my uncensored graphic novels. =)

They only censored the nudity and bulma showing the finger. Personally censoring the nudity doesn`t bother me. Only censoring bulma showing the finger bothers me a litlle.

But I understand your view.

They also censor some of the dialogue too. Example: Bulma offering Goku a peek at her butt instead of a feel. Oolong wanting to just see Bulma's boobs instead of doing puff-puffs. These changes are unnecessary for a manga already rated Teen. The nudity censoring is also sexist. If they censor Bulma's boobs, they should also censor Goku's penis. I think people would complain about that as much as boobs. So either censor both or don't censor them at all.

Oh, you have no idea how much both Americans and Japanese people bitched and moaned when Kai first started airing and baby Goku's penis was nowhere to be found.

Actually I don`t even consider that censorship because the original intentions are almost all there. Yes, a feel is different from a look, but the sexual intent is still there. I consider that more of a imperfect translation than downright censorship.

Bulma was bribing Goku with her butt. The sexual intention is still there. If they translated see instead of feel, I`m ok with it. It`s not exactily the same, but like I said, imperfect translation.

Oolong clearly wanted Bulma`s breasts and that meaning is still there. The sexual intention is still there. If they translated see them instead of puff-puff, I`m ok with it. And they even left the little image of him doing the puff-puff in the dialog balloon. So the translation is a little off but we get the point, including exactly want he wants to do with them because of that image.
Actually they didn`t leave the puff-puff in the oolong part but they left it when Oolong transformed into Bulma and was with Roshi, so they could have left it in just as well in the Oolong part. But like I said I consider that an imperfect translation and not really a matter of censorship.

Basically I consider the dialogue to be toned down but not really censored. Do you understand my point?

As for Goku`s nudity being the same as Bulma`s nudity, I don`t agree, and its not because she`s a girl. Its because she has the body of a woman although she`s only 16, but Goku has the body and penis of a infant. Bulma`s body is sexually charged but Goku`s isn`t because the body of a infant or a baby isn`t sexually charged.
And that`s why they censored one but not the other. And in this case, yes I consider it to be censorship. But I`m ok with it because even here the original intention is almost all preserved.

Like I said the only thing that they censored and that I have a problem with is bulma showing the finger because I do not understand why they needed to censor that and because all of the original intention of that panel is lost.
