How often do you read Dragon Ball manga?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

This topic wouldn't have happened to have spawned from my topic, would it?

Anyway, I hardly ever read the manga, but for a good reason. I only own the first three volumes of Dragon Ball.

I'm actually reading the Jinzonengen arc right now.

On mt first trip to Atlantic City, I had $200 to blow, and one of the stores I stopped at was Boorders. When I went, I mainly wanted Manga, so I picked up 3 volumes of Bleach, and 2 volumes of DBZ. 15, 16, and 17 were the ones I bought. Then with another $40 I bought 6 more from Overstock.com. There I bought 12-14 and 18-20.

So I'm currently reading through the whole Jinzonengen arc, and I am going to read Volume 17 tomorrow.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

List of Anime I own or have watched - http://myanimelist.net/animelist/SSJ3Goku

I've actually only read the manga up to when Radditz appears (and have only watched DBZ and GT, so I have my experience split neatly between manga and anime). Buying the whole manga is one of those things that I've meant to do for ages but keep putting off. One of the main reasons is that concern that once I get all the volumes, a newer, better release comes out.
I have all of the Viz Dragon Ball Z manga except Volume 14 and Volume 22. I'm not really that bothered about getting them, since it's only two volumes and I know what happens anyway. The manga's £6.00 over here in Plymouth, so I've been careful about how I spend my money nowadays because I'm saving up for an XBOX 360, so every penny counts. A couple of months ago, I was focusing my attentions on getting the Dragon Ball manga, because I only have Volumes 1-6 and Volume 9. Since buying DB Volume 9, I haven't been buying DB manga. Maybe sometime down the line, I'll buy some more, but it's unlikely to be soon.
:) Sorta. The topic just came to mind one day, so maybe my mind was influenced by your topic.

A lot more than I should. Sometimes I even read it in school and get weird looks.

At my school, every day we have a half-hour reading session in one of our lessons, where we read our own individual books. I used to read my DB manga at school too, but I couldn't anymore when my teachers said that they weren't "real books".

Haha! When I was younger (when the Cell Arc was still being released) I was doing that my last year of High School. I'd lend to a couple friends and circulate throughout the day, to boot...

None of my teachers have noticed what I've been reading yet, but they did notice when I snickered while reading Dr. Slump. My freind noticed what I was reading, and she's been reading it on the bus with me. We're up to 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai right now. Occasionally we'll even do some imitations of the characters, and we get strange looks. She does an awesome Goku though.
