Whee, I found my old image of this, so if anyone was too lazy to look at the (awesome) video, here's a screenshot of what's being talked about from my old VHS tapes captured with a freaking "snappy" back in 1998. xD

Wow! I noticed the shuttle but never noticed the Enterprise - A registry number. Yes I admit, I too am a BIG Trek nerd. :P

You know it's funny how one news network has freaking hover craft/space shuttle and the other guys have a Bell Huey helicopter. I always found the how Dragonball features ancient technology one point, mid twentieth century stuff the next and then futuristic, "blow you mind" tech the next. I take it Mr. Toriyama loved drawing vehicles, weapons and other gadgets in the manga and Toei did it in the anime. 8)

Sweet! Next time dad tells me that I should watch a nice Star Trek episode instead of anime, I might just point this out to him.

I know how difficult it can be to make videos for YouTube that point out this horribly inconsequential stuff that interests only a few people on this Earth... but it was amazing, and I want more.

And I don't even f-in' care about Star Trek in the least...!
Wow, I don't know if I was even consciously aware at the time that I was treading in similar strokes to your own inconsistencies videos (I make videos on varying nerdy topics and only posted this one [and my Dragon Box Review] here because of its Dragon Ball relation), but I'm certainly glad so many people here have found it entertaining. Haha, maybe I can do that oft-overlooked Yamucha analysis!

Granted, I'm not at all surprised that, over the course of 20 years, I'm not the first person to have ever noticed this little thing, or even that laserkid beat me by over a decade. That screencap, though, speaks volumes of how far better the Dragon Box quality is over old VHS recordings, doesn't it? =P

Oh, pay laserkid no mind. He's crazy and has been these parts longer than any of us care to remember. Let him spout his nonsense, smile, and carry on :P.

But yeah, these are totally the kinds of videos I love.

It's true, I'm a freaking stale fruitcake. :P

But no, seriously, that I had a random ass VHS capture picture on an obscure ass DBZ site that no one in their right minds would remember in NO way impedes on the AWESOME video you put together. I never thought to put a video together on it, and even if I had... well, my youtube videos suck. You did something awesome with this info, and that's all you man! :D

Hmm, this conversation made me go back and look at Mike's old videos for the first time since they were new, and, I know this is coming close to veering off topic, but I just couldn't help but remark on the continuing idiocy of YouTube commenters. On video #3, one complaining commenter, when asked by someone else how his contributions to the fandom compared to the community assembled around DaizenshuuEX actually made the claim that he invented the word "canon" in the far off year of 2002! What an innovator! We owe this guy quite a bit!

To get slightly back on topic, reading the last couple of posts by Mike and laserkid makes me wonder if I made some comment indicating I had extremely low self-esteem! ^_^ Not that I'm complaining by any means. I love me some praises heaped in my direction!

I can't speak for Mike, but I didn't necessarily think you had low self esteem so much as I didn't want to come across as a jackass who was trying to detract from your work by running around with a banner saying "I made an image, I made an image nyah nyah nyah". I just wanted to point out I'd noticed too, since you asked if anyone else noticed, but yeah - didn't wan't to actually detract from what you did.

Haha, I wasn't holding any jackass feelings towards you, so I guess we can just agree to... well, agree! =P
