Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing game. It's just that it seems to me that Dimps cut a lot of corners, which really brings the game down a bit.PatPat wrote:
Yes but burst limit, had amazing graphics, cutscenes, and online play so it kinda made up for it.

Re: DBZ IW question
You'd be surprised actually. I popped it in a few days ago just out of curiosity and I managed to get in a few fights(more than SFIV). Granted a lot of those fighters are Z ranked and they all kicked my ass, but it was still fun.PatPat wrote: I've played Burst Limit, unlocked everything, and beat it already and yeah I thought it was a little better than IW. I traded it in a while back though. I can't imagine there's still a whole lot of people playing that one online these days...?
Content wise it was a little weak, but I liked the modes they offered. I also liked the fact that it went only up to Cell. As lame of a trick it was, it left room for growth in the series and it made it so the characters were more balanced. I think everyone's problem was that we went from over 100 characters back down to 20(a standard number for fighter games).Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing game. I almost want to say the game was an experiment to test this gen's capabilities. They delivered a well polished simple and balanced fighter with decent online play and a good variety of characters. I want a sequel just so they could top the first one.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?
Re: DBZ IW question
See that's another reason why I'm pretty forgiving with Burst Limit, because it was the first in the Burst Limit series. I don't know if they'll make any more but assuming that they were planning on it you can't just start of the first game in a series with all the sagas, characters, levels, etc. If you did that then you wouldn't have anything to put into the sequels.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:You'd be surprised actually.
