I HOPE they don't make DragonBoxes, because I've already got all the season sets. >.<

What difference does that make? It's not like someone's gonna force you to buy them...
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

Or maybe because the video quality is better. The fatpacks suffer from a poor NTSC to PAL conversion. It's interlaced and riddled with ghosting.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Agreed. The only reason I can think of as to why someone living in Australia might import the blue bricks rather than buy the fatpacks, is that the blue bricks are more "remastered" or something. I don't care personally because Dragon Ball is a 20+ year old show and I really don't see how it can look that much better.Goku100xKamehameha wrote:Well, I didn't know that before but now that I know it, yeah! you should buy the 'Fat Pack"!

Gah, there's a forum glitch here where I can't see the actual last post made in this thread. Forgive the bump.
Semi on-topic: I'd love to pick these older sets up sometime. If the a Dragon Box doesn't hit.

Again, I don't really give two shits because it's a really old show in the first place. If a new show suffered from those problems you mentioned, then it would be different.Innagadadavida wrote:Or maybe because the video quality is better. Old or not, I don't know how you can settle for gratuitous ghosting. It's easily the most distracting, unwatchable digital and conversion artifact.
Speaking of which, does anyone know why Funimation's first DBGT special release is so riddled with it that I can't even sit through it? Of every single DVD I've bought from them, this is the only one where ghosting is an issue (and a serious one). Also, is this corrected on the Season Two set?

I think that's because the GT special was using the same master as the Plan to Eradicate the Saiya-jins special as opposed to what the episodes/movies used, it's the same way on the Dragon Box set.
