Correct. Over here it's common to put the day before the month.

Sweet! Oozaru vs Reptar. It'll be like King Kong vs Godzilla, except good.

Re: Dragon Ball Z Spike
To be fair all they've done were the day levels from the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed and all of the handheld games, and that's really only from a programming standpoint (kind of like Silicon Knights with Twin Snakes, where the cutscenes were made in-house by Konami with Hideo Kojima) and any style changes, characters or story ideas would come mainly from Sega, so the idea of placing any blame on them is ridiculous. Of course, it also helps that I like most of the new Sonic games.Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:I doubt it. They're far too busy fucking up Sonic the Hedgehog to be bothered to make a game about DragonBall. If Dimps doesn't add thirty dash pads and homing attack gimmicks, who will?
As for the topic at hand, I immediately thought of Tenshinhan. I'm not really sure what to expect from a final product though...
This will never not be my sig:

Well, it seems there's more to this than we all first thought. Apparently it's going to be revealed at Gamescom, which starts on the 21st of August if my memory is correct. Wonder what it's going to be? Can't be another Tenkaichi-style game (as we've got Raging Blast). Maybe Dimps got the budget to make a Burst Limit 2 on the Wii? (that'd be kind've dissapointing, though, considering one of the strongest points of the original was it's graphics). Considering Piccolo Daimou was just covered in a side-scroller, maybe we're getting a game based around the rarely covered 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai?

I would really enjoy a good 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai game. :3

It's hard to ruin a franchise that's been shit for longer then it was good. Sonic Team has been fucking up Sonic for ten years, Dimps isn't doing any more harm then Sonic Team's garbage like Sonic 06 is.Supa Saiya-Jin Tullece wrote:I doubt it. @Piccolo Daimaou: Yeah, but its more than just an odd listing in an online shop, in which hundreds of errors are usually made every year.

I could dig a Budokai-esque fighting game based on Goku's younger years.
That isn't Dragon Ball Evolution.

Re: Dragon Ball Z Spike
I think I may have figured out what this game is. Considering I don't know a damn thing about Europe & I'm currently sleep deprived, I may be way off. I still like this theory, though, so hear me out.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Ball-Bud ... 38&sr=1-10
Amazon currently lists BT3 at about 30 weird foreign currencies.
http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/157332 ... oduct.html
play.com lists this Spike game at about 25 weird foreign currencies.
Why would a new game retail for less than an old one? My theory? Dragon Ball Z: Spike is the placeholder for a rerelease of BT3, possibly as some sort of Greatest Hits style thing. It would explain why there has been no marketing for a new game, and it also could explain why this has only shown up in Europe.

No matter what happens I hope the box art stays just as it is.

So... Gamescom is over. No word, I take it.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Re: Dragon Ball Z Spike
It should be noted that GoNintendo's source for that rumor was a French site who said a new Wii game was hinted at in a recent Jump America (I assume they mean the American Shonen Jump). They later go on to say that a source at Bandai Namco told them it would be at Gamescom.
The French site said that the new Wii game could be called Dragon Ball Z: Spike as that was a name passed around the net for a new DB game on the platform.
Based on the "Final Budokai" to "Infinite World" logic, I'm going to say this new Wii title will be called Dragon Ball Z: Flat Block.
If someone has US Jump, mind checking your recent issues to see if there are any hints about a new Wii game?

Re: Dragon Ball Z Spike
I always roll with the 'link or it didnt happen' although in the case of DBZ games, I like seeing a pic or a video before I believe something. A super vague listing from Europe doesn't really do anything for me.
