Why would they do the movies if they're not even doing the Boo arc?

IMO, FUNimation's dub during Majin Boo's arc got a lot better not exactly at Kai dub level, but pretty good, nevertheless.

What they should redub would be the films/specials.

But... Do a new recast for Goku/Vegeta/Freeza/etc. Probably it'd just be the Kai cast.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

No, not really. The new casting done for it was all well and good, but the script and acting is still really wonky in places. However, if any one piece of the Funimation English Dragon Ball Z dub needs to be redubbed, it's the TV specials.

In places being the key word. Although I disagree about the Buu Saga being a HUGE jump up, it definetly was the best of the dub in terms of acting and script, even if the music began to get really inconsistent due to the sudden surge of music that was radically different from anything else put out by FaulconerProductions before, courtesy of Julius Dobos I'm assuming. Not that it was bad (well, not most of it), it was just really weird suddenly hearing music that was obviously written by a completely different person after like 100 Episodes of the usual soundtrack from Team Faulconer.

This. The Bardock dub sickens me.

A redub of anything is too costly to be justified without some sort of extra reason. When FUNimation redubed the first three movies, that extra reason was because they wanted consistency with casts--they hired a new cast to dub DBZ, so it only made sense to have them go back and do the movies. I think people have a tendency to think of the Kai dub as a redub (subconsciously, I mean)...when in fact, it wasn't a redub. It was a new dub of a new show that just happened to have a striking resemblance to an old show. A redub will never happen purely for the sake of "making something better." There has to be another reason.
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."
