I'd say Reacoom isn't a human-type Earthling, he just comes from a planet that has inhabitants that are similar to humans, like the Saiyans. It's probably not all that uncommon in the Dragon World.

Could you explain what convergent evolution is?

Basically: when species with different orgins live in similar environment they can finally achieve very similar forms (like wing of bat and pterodactyl, leaves of different plants, etc-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ex ... _evolution.). I think it can be used as suitable explanation (but on the other hand human two legged form is so inefficient comparing to others that it seems to be far-fetched explanation.)

The one thing that got dull after awhile was EVERYONE usually had to arms and two legs. Out of the entire universe thats always how they looked. I wish ONCE a villian had 4 arms, that would make for SUCH a better battle strategy and moves. Just imagine a villian pops up in front of you, grabs you by the shoulders and lifts you into the aim awhile another set of hands are charngin a ki blast point blank in your face. Humans can be pretty tall under the right conditions, so I'm not convinced that Recoome being giant disqualifies him...
Being part of the Ginyu Force, though, would make relating thim to Earth pretty dang interesting.

From what I know, Recoom is a humanoid-alien. No eyebrows at some point. The Saiyans have humanoid appearance, judging from their spiky hair//tails who has the power to go Oozaru.

This kind of stuff is why I always say there should have been a Ginyu Tokusentai gaiden or movie about where they came from, how they formed, and what made them so feared and bad ass before they all died on Namek.
