Sweatbands are only cool if you are Avril Lavigne.

The mind boggles. Especailly since putting 'quote marks' around something is usually a sign of doing something 'dirty', but I can't for the life of me think of anything dirty to do with a sweat band.

Still, I'm not one to turn down a free trip. When are you sending me the money?

What are you saying? Of course a sweat band's dirty. It's got sweat in it!

I meant 'dirty' in a 'non-Christian homeschooling' sort of way.

Wow that's really cool. Do you still talk to her at all?
Sadly, no... I haven't spoken to any DBZ webmasters (aside from the people on this forum, hehehe) in what seems like years. She was really nice, though, and gave me a bunch of Trunks/Androids in Cantonese before I had the chance to see them fansubbed. Good times, good times.

On a random note, I now want that Carue/Kaoru/Calloo duck statue!

You know it.

Let`s just say, dressing a particular way in Japan tends to make you accessible to certain crowds and allows you to speak with them freely.

Wow. Japan is one weird little place. You learn something every day, don't you?

Today must be a fast day for me, because I also learned that ninjas eat kittens.

That's cool. Kind of like my first DBZ related online friend (though he was a role-player) sending me the history of Trunks. Ohhh magical times. Hehe.

I actually used to have a fangirl crush on Trunks, with a little laminated poster of him fresh out of the Room of Spirit and Time, long hair, lookin all scuffed up. A real beefcake pic. Hehe. Later I realized I just liked the pic and not actually him, and after much ridicule from my boyfriend, I gave it to my cousin. :P Hahaha.

Hey how do you feel about fanfics that pair 18 and Trunks together? Or even the Trunks and 17 pairings heehee...

Heh, I of course had that picture printing out when I was in my huge fangirl crush on Trunks, too.

I think that's THE picture. Ya know, kind of like "Trunks=sex" in this picture. Ahh, that was the hotness.

*cough* But I'm a happily spoken for women, and I shant speak of such things! (especially when said boyfriend runs the forum!). :P

As for pairings, I was never really a fan of fanfics and pairings in general. Although, early on in my fandom, I did love fanfics by Katchan and Juuhachi-gou. In terms of #18 and Trunks, I only liked "Walk this World" for that. But... the only time #17 and Trunks even seemed remotely plausible (and likable) was in Katchan's "Matutinal Encounter." I used to LOVE that one, and I read it all the time. Maybe it's because I thought I was a naughty young girl for even looking at a story about two guys. Now, I won't touch the stuff, but I did think that story was good.

I don't read romance fics... But, eww. While I'm not suprised Trunks and 17 pairings exist...

I have a friend who had a crush on Videl. Funny thing is, his sister had a crush on Gohan. Strange how that happened.

Yeaaah that poster of Trunks is definitely the hot sex poster.

As for fanfics, when I really think about it, the only fics I ever read must have all been by Katchan. I really don't remember reading other people's fics, and only got back into reading them recently from all these young 18 shrine owning fanfic writers. 0,0; But I digress...

If I'm not mistaken, Katchan did the short fic of how 18 and Krillin met, how she showed up at Kame House one day asking to spar, and it went from there. The Trunks/17 fic she did was also good...if that's the one where it's set in the future and 17 is all S&M on poor Trunks. Sexay! (Are you aware that young girls have these crazy flame wars over Trunks/Pan vs. Trunks/Marron? Then there's the whole bizarre #17/Bra pairing...yeesh.)

God, Katchan was SO good. I remember there was someone in our rp guild that took the name Japhia, and I HATED her for playing Japhia like a spoiled, stuck-up bitch. Ergh, I feel like I go on about rpg land too much for you guys.

Well anyway, I never read Juuhachi-gou's Walk This World, despite it being about 18. I don't know why...I think I just was never in the mood or something. :/ I am lame.

You state a #17/Bra pairing as bizarre, yet a Trunks/#17 S&M relationship is totally plausible?

What the hell is wrong with you shrine owner people?!

They're like Popo. Being cooped up in shrines is bad for you. Meri is to Trunks and number 18 is to...well, number 18 ( :) ) as Popo is to Kami.

ROFL!

Listen, Bra is like...I dunno. She is Vegeta's DAUGHTER, young and pretty in red pleather. And I haven't seen enough of GT to really form an informed opinion about her, but she just seems like jail bait to me when paired up with Juunana. But you know, Trunks & 17 is alright cause they actually interact in the series and whatnot. I'm not some creepy yaoi fangirl or anything, but it's feasible, moreso than 17 and Bra. Blech! How old does she get in GT anyway?

Yeah I can see the pivotal moment of their relationship:

Trunks :"You killed everyone I love you emotion-less robot!"
#17: "Don't be that way, baby. C'mere and drop those trunks, Trunks!"
Trunks: "Damn it all! I never could resist that whole 'maniacle sex-bot' charm of yours! Just remember to put a Red Ribbon on that enhancement of yours."

Safety first!

I've always thought that was a stupid argument. I hate it when people have to see or make up pairings everywhere! It's clear if you watch the final episode of GT that the Son family and Briefs family drifted apart, evidenced by the fact that a very old Pan doesn't personally know the woman sitting beside her, but deduces from her appearance that she must be a descendant of Buruma. As to the Marron/Trunks pairing, I just absolutely cannot see it.
