As Kai is basically a more manga cannon version of Dragon Ball Z, I don't think they'd do any movies. Basically the whole point of Kai was for newcomers and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original DBZ show. All they did was take out all the filler, redub it in both Japanese and English, and Convert everything to widescreen and making it in high definition. Unless if they wanted to give a similar treatment to some of the movies; however that would probably be just the redub part…

I'd quite like a movie similar to 'Strong World' (Something to do with the canon story) and a decent run time (90mins). Speaking of which, I actually had an idea for a Kai movie that I thought up not to long ago which featured yet another evil Saiyan that tried to over throw King Vegeta.
