I was exposed to Super Saiyan via the old ads in the back of EGM (though I didn't know who some of the characters were at the time), the PSone import games, and the internet. So, I knew it would happen at some point, but it was still great to finally see regardless of the spoilers. I don't remember exactly, but chills were probably the accurate reaction. There are some scenes that do that to me no matter how many times I see them. For instance, the scene right before Goku transports Cell to the afterlife.

Yeah, same. I always get chills whenever I see Gohan's transformation into a Super Saiyan 2 at the Cell Games. Nozawa's scream and Unmei no Hi playing in the background just do it for me.
