Athough to be serious, I don't think there's anyone that I know of that would be good choices, but if time doesn't matter in this topic, I think a young Elijah Wood wouldn't be a bad choice for Kid Goku. But other then that, I'd probably also choose unknowns like what Mountain and TheDevilsCorpse said what they would do.

You know that everyone you listed for the cast were all unknowns at one point too, people just don't become famous out of no where.

Johnny Yong Bosch= Goku (His personality, familiarity with anime and Martial Arts skills would make him perfect for the role)
Jackie Chan= Roshi (It's so obvious)

My picks for Krillin and Freeza have already been posted.

Jay Chou, if you don't recognize the name he was Kato from the Green Hornet.

Outside of these guys I haven't really thought about it though.

The only decision I feel particularly adamant about is Christian Bail as Vegeta. I don't know, it just seems perfect to me.

While it kind of feels only half on topic, I'd love to see a good film company try to make a movie for the saiyajin arc because it's never been done before. All three countries that have made live action DB have picked a pre-Z arc and done the origin story.

We've never had a live action Vegeta.
I have a morbid interest in seeing what they'd come up with for him.
Or maybe I'm just feeling more relaxed with how quietly DBE came and went when it finally opened in theaters. I still don't like Chatku, I feel bad for what happened with James Marsters who genuinely wanted to make a good DB movie, and I do kind of hope that DB live action complete reboot listing on IMDB holds some water.

I'd also love to see a shout-out to TFS in a future live action movie. Maybe something subtle yet identifiable like Piccolo's "DODGE!".

On a serious note, I could never see live action really working. Although I will admit Leonardo DiCaprio could make a real life Trunks. I always thought in his younger days there was a resemblance.

Some great casting choices in this thread. I feel like a reboot should be based off the Saiyajin arc since that's the saga that a lot of people are familiar with and people would pay good money to see Goku and Vegeta fight on the big screen. A budget and a movie done in a tone similar to the Transformers movies and Iron Man 1-2 could work for a DBZ movie.

My dream casting:

Dong-gun Jang (The Warrior's Way) as Goku

Elisha Cuthbert (Old School, House of Wax, The Girl Next Door) as Bluma

Ziyi Zhang as Chichi (Already been posted, but I feel like it's the perfect choice)

John Leguizamo (Romeo + Juliet, Spawn, Ice Age 1-3) as Kuririn (I think his voice and humor would fit well with Kuririn)

Robin Shou (Mortal Kombat, Beverly Hills Ninja, Death Race) as Yamucha

Adrien Brody (Petter Jackson's King Kong, Predators) as Tenshinhan

Danny DeVito (Batman Returns, Erin Brockovich, Big Fish) as Yajirobe

Idris Elba (Sometimes in April, American Gangster, Thor) as Piccolo

Ian Anthony Dale (Tekken, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth) as Raditz

Bill Goldberg as Nappa (Everyone wanted him as Nappa for years, so why not?)

Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Batman Begins, Inception) as Vegeta

I was unable to find roles for Master Roshi, Kami, and Kid Gohan. I think King Kai and other minor characters should be CG with the Funi voice cast for their voice overs.

That's not Ian Anthony Dale. Mr. Dale plays Kazuya in the Tekken movie and that guy in the image portrays Bryan Fury.

Oh thanks for pointing that out. I found the image on Google when I google his name. I thought that was him in the Tekken movie?
