How's this project coming along? Seems like you're getting the intro/ed/eyecatches done (I won't repeat any opinions that have been said).

Have you given thought on how you'll be cutting up the episodes to mantain some kind of coherency? If you watch what's already been done in Kai, Toei integrated quite a lot of filler in the canon material since there was no way around it. Editing the footage, then trying to make it look and sound coherent is a GARGANTUAN task. Unless you're a super good sound engineer, it's going to be a difficult uphill battle to isolate the JP vocal tracks in a way where they sound completely isolated from the BGM.

Once you get your sources, try editing down an episode and let us know how it goes.

There is two differences from the anime and manga for Episode 254:
Mr. Satan is shot right after Majin Boo heals Bee.
Majin Boo does not remake his house.

There's the opening.
Strange...I see a lot of time wasted on Saiyan arc stuff and humans and shitbag kids, but something is decidedly missing...

Whatever could it be...

Vegetto shouldn't be in the opening. It's too much of a spoiler. It would take away from Vegeta's death. The fact that he's not in it aside from as a Majin is better, and even that in itself is a bit too much of a spoiler, but it's not too bad. Vegeta showing up to fuse with is fairly last minute, and also very late in the story. Yes, so is everyone raising their hands, but it doesn't really give anything away. Vegetto deserves to be in the opening, but that doesn't mean he should be.

As for the opening, all in all it looks fantastic!

Fair enough, I suppose (though wasn't Super Saiyan Goku in the credits from the start?).

But in that case I demand a special Vegetto opening for his episodes.

There's 2 ways you can do this without fighting the music.

The dub for the Boo arc isn't awful at all. If you use the season set's audio you can separate the music from the dialogue. If you don't want to do that then you'll just have to work with the music and not fight against it. If the music starts off say...panning across a field leave the field shot in. There will be more filler than usual but you'll still be able to get rid of a lot of it.

I also think it might be a good idea to start practicing with any Dragon Ball material while waiting for Dragon Box footage of the Boo arc. Eye catchers and openings are the easy part of all this really, especially if you're just using preexisting footage from video games for both.

Majin Boo does not make a house.
Majin Boo does make a house he even explains every part of it like in the anime,He just doesnt rebuild it after it got destroyed by the people who shot Mr.Satan and Bee

One more thing. Inspite of Yamamoto being fired from Kai, use his music anyway.

You thought I wasn't going to use Yamamoto's music? I'll be chillin' in filler hell with Broly before I don't use the music Kai was supposed to have in the first place. On a side note, those eyecatches, Babidi looks weird, Goku and Dabura don't look new-ish... but Vegeta is freakin' awesome! And I don't want to use any openings that aren't mine :/

This weekend I'll be tweeking the opening and credits so it fits the Majin Buu Sagas then the 2nd opening will include Vegetto and such.

You could use that opening if you ask maybe or do you feel that wanna do a series with your own creative control fully? I' m fine with ethier decision as its not my series. I am however over the song Dragon Soul so a new song that matches the mood of the show could be refreshing and I am also excited by the fact that you are tweaking the opening to match the Buu Saga, good job already!

Hey guys! The new intro and closing credits will be up tommorow. I am still keeping Dragon Soul as the intro theme though. It just seems wrong changing it since every DB show stuck to their theme till the end. The closing credits will be ORANGE HERO. The clips consists of Dragon Soul Openings, DBKai ending clips (textless), DBZ Budokai 2-3 intros, Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans and Yo! Son Goku and Friends Return. Since each saga had two or so openings, the first one will show things such as Majin Buu, Majin Vegeta, Gotenks etc. Other forms of Buu, Vegetto and the Super Spirit Bomb will be in the second opening.

New intro is here!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mssbbkxe0w

Episode One's Title Is:

"Welcome Back Old Friends! Gohan, Earth's New Hero?"

I will be livestreaming episodes before they are uploaded to any website. But anyone know a good virtual webcam-type thing like ManyCam or WebCamMaxx that doesn't have a watermark? I don't want any viewers to be annoyed by a giant logo on the screen.
