I agree that the chances of it are slim, but I still believe they are possible. We don't exactly know how long they planned on changing the score. Maybe they've had a set date for weeks now that they decided they were going to change the score.
Ah, let me dream. I just want to have a swell dub with high quality Kikuchi! It's even more exciting because I dunno what songs will play where!

I'm telling you, this is just a Walmart type of DVD bundling, mainly to save room on their shelves and as a cheaper alternative for the customers. It's nothing more than that and nothing new.

I'm gonna be purchasing the Parts 3 and 4 set this week one way or another. If nobody beats me to it, I'll report back on the music so we'll know for sure, just in case.

I'll be purchasing them this week too. Probably through shipping. I'de place the order right now but the release date for 3 & 4 says 3/28/11. Well it's about 1am on the 28th from where I am now, and it still says preorder. So I'll just go to sleep and check it in the morning. This is a very good deal for a set I really didn't care for. Especially to own the future "rare" version of Kai with the Yamamoto score.

I'll probably wait for a Blu-Ray deal. Might as well have it all in HD.

Would a Walmart bundle get its own packaging? It's not just like you unwrap it and there's the original releases of parts 1 and 2. It's one big sleeve with 4 cases inside. It very well could be, but I wouldn't be surprised if it surfaced at other retailers soon.

No, I'm pretty sure it's just a Walmart thing. I recall them doing this before with the season sets of Dragonball, DBZ, and GT.
Here are two threads I found regarding previous bundles from Walmart:

I'm interested to see if it includes the "new" music as well. I horribly doubt it though, but it if it does, then I will have to save up some money to buy them or the new individual releases.

I have a feeling Wal-Mart is either selling out whatever stock they have of these on the shelves or pulling them off completely.
As of Saturday, Walmart.com's status for these combo packs was "Sold in Stores."
However on Sunday, it was updated to "Not Sold in Stores."
Just a heads up. Take it for what you will.

Well, one way or another they actually ARE sold in stores, regardless of what the website says. My local Walmart yesterday was in the process of restocking their shelves, and there was already clearly-labeled spots reserved for both two-packs. Unfortunately, the actual sets were still in a box in back somewhere, so I couldn't pick one up at the time, but...

I'm not saying they aren't sold in stores. I've seen them on the shelf myself lol. I'm just letting you guys know that their website changed the status of the availability.

What he said.
Lol, I have to agree with this one. The one aspect I truly loved about Kai. Bah, oh well. Anyway, I'd expect re-releases, when they happen, soon after volume 5 hits. I'm sure FUNi needs the new masters to overlay the English dub over the "new" music.
