A "who'd win" topic, but not your average one

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Yeah, I've thought about that and it makes sense to understand it that way (especially when you look at other examples like Vegita, Goku when he comes back). I also thought Goku assigning the numbers for each level was pretty silly.

Did I mention that I hate SSJ3?

Ok: Gohan (post-namek) vs Goten (non-ssj)

Gohan because all that Goten/Trunks being so ungodly strong is crap to me.

Ah, yes. I completely forgot that the system wasn't invented until Goku needed to make an easier system for it. I guess you don't have to get so serious about SSJ forms...

My post Valentines day resolution (something I just made up) is now to never give a shit about the SSJ1 and SSJ2 form differences again.

Don't forget, also in between SSJ1 and SS2 there is the Ultra SSJ form, just to give us an even bigger headache. :? And Gohan would win hands down against Goten. Remember by then, he had already had his power-up from Saichorou-sama on Namek.

Don't forget that there's like a casual SSJ with a more whiter hair colour. But what am I saying, I don't care anymore, right?

Saichorou increased his PL only up to 14,000. That's why I said post-namek so that you'd include his healing from Ginyu battle and Freeza battle.

I say Goten but he'd need a month's bedrest after eating 2 senzus.

Scary fact: No matter how you interperate Bardock's PL to be (1,200-1,500 or 10,000), post-Saichorou Krillin (13,000) could kick his ass three ways from Sunday. Unless Bardock sees a full moon in which case Run Baldy, Run!!!

That would be something to see, Kuririn taking out his best friend's father! Okay Mr. Power Levels Man, how about who would win in a fight between Perfect Cell and Darbura? I've always wondered since it is stated that they are close in power levels.

Cell. He's got a bit of an egde strength-wise already, as well as being able to assimilate and absorb energy. If he got Dabura's spit on him he'd just tear off wherever it landed and regrow said area before the spit could spread. Plus his cells would mean he'd regain tons of energy quick if they stopped for a five-min break.

They say that Dabura is maybe just a little weaker than Perfect Cell. He's definately not stronger.

If I made a DB doujinshi, I'd wish back Bardock and have some crazy matchups.

Edit: Beat me by a minute, Dayspring.

It would definitely be some match to watch, but who would you root for?

In Kuririn vs Bardock? I'd make Bardock win. That guy is just too cool for words.

I'd root for Cell. My friend is writing a pretty decent fanfic called, aptly put, "Timeliness". (Based on me telling him about a certain thread on the board)

It stars Gohan and Cell in TL4. In TL4 Cell wins the Cell games (Gohan doesn't reach SSJ2) but doesn't kill all the Z-crew: just Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo. Then instead of destroying the world he pulls a Piccolo Daimao and decides on one city per year. Each year there will be a Cell games and if he wins he blows up another city. At the second Cell games he killed everybody but Gohan (so he could face him in the next Cell games). It's the same each year w/Gohan coming closer each year, but still losing until the Boo saga starts. Gohan wants to stop Boo from appearing, Cell wants to fight Boo. He kills Dabura easily in the fic.

That fic sounds awesome. I don't think he should beat Dabura easily though... It could be a great match.

Your friend's fic sounds really interesting. By the way, how's your Vegita fic going Dayspring? I was really enjoying reading the snippets you posted. 8)

Right now I'm waiting to see if a friend wants to make it a joint venture and turn it into a fanmanga. The guy's talented. His pic of SSJ Legendary Vegeta when enraged looks a hell of a lot like Joe Madureira's version of Sabertooth.

So what's this other fanfic about, eh? If you make a doujinshi you better scan it and show it to me!

But, yeah. You seem to be pretty good with fanfiction. I only do humour, myself.

I'm horrible at humour. My best (original) comedy piece was about a bum who reaches enlightenment by ignoring his hunger pangs (he lives outside McDonald's and his fav food is their hash browns). When some twit wants to find meaning in life he meets the bum on St Catherine Street where he learns "Street Zen". The guy then uses this Street Zen to defend his school from corporate bullies who want to buy out the rights to sell only their products in the school's vending machines. Damn those Pipse vendors!

Unfortunately nobody got the humor and the only people who liked it were assholes who said it was "the best thing since Street Gladiators" (SG is where they pay bums sandwhiches to kick the shit out of each other. :x ).

The fanfic/doujinshi that Jersey's talking about can be previewed in the thread "Does this sound like reading?". I'll see if I can get my friend to sign up for the board and to post the pic. I'm sure he'd be a pro artist in museums even had an ass in high school not stolen one of his nude drawings and ran around calling him a perv. Since then he's been real self-conscious about his work.

Ah yes, I found it. "Does this sound worth reading?" was actually the name. I forgot about that topic... but anyway, very good stuff. Whichever fic you prioritize, I'll follow. I've taken a liking to your style. I should read fics more often, but I've had bad luck in the past clicking random fanfics up at fanfiction.net.

I'll take your word for it about your humour, I guess. Street Zen sounds pretty crazy, though.
