If certain people get so angry about their dub names getting filtered, maybe there should be disclaimer on the sign-up page that kinda would go like this:

There already is, right in the section about how the entire site is geared toward the original version of the franchise.

Furthermore, certain regional-specific spellings and quirks may automatically be adjusted by the forum to reflect this global perspective.

Besides, this person's rant was not even really about that. It was about a horribly rude person not understanding why they can't continue to be a horribly rude person.

"The rules I agreed to upon signing up outline very clearly that I hafta be respectful, polite and courteous in my contributions to the forum. It's not fair that when I do the exact opposite I get multiple generous warnings, so I'm going to complain and exacerbate until I get banned. Then I can point to the administrators and moderators as cynical assholes despite that I earned and deserved the discipline. Stop crushing my individuality under your perfect elitism, this is a free country, wah wah wah. ;p"

I didn't mean to imply the filter was what ticked him off - I was using it as a methodology proof against the idiots rant. >.<
