They explained this? I though it was another mystical rule like the exit dissapearing after 1 year.Cipher wrote:I'm surprised no one's commented on this yet. Based on someone's statement in the Cell saga. Then that was contradicted in the Buu saga when 4 people Goten, Trunks, Buu, and Piccolo were in it.

In Viz, Goku tells Vegeta that the Room of Spirit and Time's only set up for two people, so Vegeta would have to go in with Trunks, since they're short on time. I don't know whether it's different in the original, but perhaps it wasn't explained very well, like the whole 2/3 wishes debacle with Dende's Shenlong, which is why people assumed that there was an absolute rule that only two people could go in at a time.Michsi wrote:They explained this? And the exit only disappears if you're in the room for over 48 hours.

Tien gets forgotten after he is healed in the Buu Saga, really, what was the point of using him if he was gonna be forgotten later on?
Re: Amusing inconsistencies in the anime
Lol yea that always bothered me too. I honestly feel that was like an FU from Toriyama to the fans who complained about the lack of the original human fighters in the latter arcs. It's basically like you wanted him back but look how he weak is compared to Buu just confirming their lack of usefulness to the plot. Poor Tien though haha.perucho1990 wrote:Tenshinhan gets forgotten after he is healed in the Buu Saga, really, what was the point of using him if he was gonna be forgotten later on?

Well, he and Chaozu are in that one panel at the end where it shows all the heroes when Goku and the others reunite with their friends and families at God's Palace.perucho1990 wrote:Tenshinhan gets forgotten after he is healed in the Buu Saga, really, what was the point of using him if he was gonna be forgotten later on?
But it's not as if he was particularly useful in the first place. He just pops in to save Mr. Satan and Dende from Boo's blast, then just gapes in horror as he admits how useless he is against Boo's overwhelming power.

Just found error in Movie 10. When Goten cries and Videl gives him the dumpling, Trunks atually grabs it, or Goten in Trunks' jacket
Because Goten's sleeves are blue and Trunks have a green jacket. You can also see the actual details of Trunks' sleeve, so it's not just Goten's sleeve painted green.

A few weeks back I saw the danish dub of DBZ episode 96.
In it Muten Roshi talks about Freeza and how he can transform, but how the hell does Roshi knows that? Is it like that in the original as well?

Dub error? Because I recently watched that episode (I'm currently watching the whole series) and I clearly remember Zarbon saying that Freeza can also transform.dbgtFO wrote:There's the anime not including Zarbon's line about Freeza being able to transform as well, which later becomes the sole reason why Vegeta knew Freeza could transform and he even says in the anime that Zarbon told him, though he actually didn't.
Must also be a dub error. Roshi never said that.dbgtFO wrote:A few weeks back I saw the danish dub of DBZ episode 96.

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Re: Amusing inconsistencies in the anime
Must be an error in whatever you watched, then, since the anime cut the entire manga scene where he said this. The scene where Vegeta tells Freeza Zarbon told him he can transform was left in, though, causing a bit of a disconnect for anime-only viewers who never saw Zarbon say this.DBZGTKOSDH wrote: Dub error? When Vegeta and Nappa's spaceships come in to land on Earth, they fly past the Moon.
