Cell + Artificial Moon?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Okay, since I didn't want to open up a new topic for regarding Cell's abilities...

Could Cell theoretically produce an offspring like a Namekian? I'm not talking about him producing something like the Cell Jr's but an actual offspring like spitting out an egg and waiting for it to hatch and grow like with King Piccolo and Piccolo Jr.

Daizenshuu 7 says that Cell's ability is basically an evolved version of the Namekian ability.
Birthing Cell Juniors
First Appearance: Chapter 406
Category: ability
People: Cell
Special Characteristics: This is a technique where Cell, after reaching his perfect form, creates children with the same abilities as him from out of his tail that he has to absorb life energy. Cell can freely control the number of children created. Each of the children then has roughly the same amount of power and speed as Cell. This special ability could be said to be a developed version the Namekian Piccolo’s ability to create offspring. (Daizenshuu 2, p.214)

So I see.

One more thing. How many Cell's were actually collected for Cell? I know in the dub it says Cell had acquired Cells from Nappa and Gohan but I'm unsure if this is the same for the original Japanese Audio.

I'm pretty sure manga wise Cell only has cells from Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, Piccolo, Freeza and Cold.

But anime wise it seems he has Cells from Tenshinhan too.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Well, people in the Dragon Ball world seem to breed young.

Goku was only 19 when he knocked up Chi Chi!

Like people have said, the manga tells us here:

I believe the "number of other lifeforms" part refers to animals rather than people, but someone who's read the Japanese wording would have to tell us if it's that specific.
