Christmas 2009, I got the first Dragon Box! Just realized it's been awhile since I had gotten a Dragon Ball item for xmas!
- Been a Dragon Ball fan ever since 1995 (at the time, I was 7 years old).
- I prefer Saffron Henderson's Kid Gohan and Kid Goku over Stephanie Nadolny's.
- I still hope for a redub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z with FUNimation's current cast.
- I prefer to watch Dragon Ball Z with the Faulconer Score, however I do not mind the original Japanese score.

I got Dragon Ball GT Season One for Christmas in 2008. And I used a gift card to buy season 8(orange bricks).

I've had quite a few Dragon Ball Christmas mornings when I was younger. Usually random VHS tapes and action figures, but I enjoyed all of it. Toy wise I remember the Rejuvenation Chamber with a golden SSJ Goku and the Super Battle Collection 'Ultimate Gohan' being my highlights. Gohan especially surprised me, because she actually went and ordered online while she was very hesitant about the idea at the time.

In recent times however, present receiving has sort of slowed down...but I'm pretty sure some money I got went to Dragon Box 2 a couple years ago. I think the last directly Dragon Ball related item I got as a Christmas present was Orange Brick 6 from a friend in 2008.
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.

That Gohan figure is the exact one I got for Christmas one year.

I remember back in the day looking at those figures in a book and I just wished I could get one, but back then the internet wasn't as big as it is today. And we didn't have the internet. So i was screwed  In a way i miss those days
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

I remember getting a few figures for Christmas back in 2001 and 2002. I also got The 3rd season of the Orange Brick back in 2007 for Christmas and I got Raging Blast 2 for Christmas last year. That's all I can think of right now.

I think it was Christmas in... 98? I got my first one of these:

And now, that's the only one of those I don't have. I think I bitch about this like twice a year. You'd think I'd have gotten it by now. That'd be the earliest gift I can think of. A recent one was better with Dragon Box Z Vol. 3, the Viz Daizenshuu, and the Legend of Saiyans Selypa figure. Nothing was really "themed" but I suppose I could do that some year. Someday. Somewhere. Over the Rainbow. In the Dark.

It was around Christmas two years ago (or was it last year?) when I brought a Piccolo figure from a department store for only $7!

Every December I check the toy section in that same department store to see if I can find more great deals on Dragon Ball figures.

That's Piccolo's figure of "Power Booster", I had that figure boxed but because I was so picky about the box's condition which I returned it and then realized the mistake I committed.

I don't like taking out the figures out of the boxes, but I suppose this would've been passable, though I did not think carefully. Now these Piccolo figures have their price gone up. :?

Like you, I check the toys department on each store I visit, but NEVER any Dragon Ball figure is available. :-/ Just that one time they had this Goku figure and bought it:

This Son Goku figure looks amazing and so very well detailed, was worth buying!

4 years ago I got my first DB manga, which was the last volume of the english Dragon Ball series from my GF. But I didn't got anything other on christmas, as I'm the only one person in my family importing stuff, so I'm buying these things myself.
