How often do you watch the series?

Generally, I feel like I go through cycles. I'll watch the entire series and need maybe 3 years before I get the urge to watch anything again. I try not to over kill scenes by watching them on youtube; so after 3 years, it's amazing how certain scenes seem so fresh. It's a never ending cycle, really. I last watched GT 3-4 years ago and barely remember it at all in detail. Same happened with "Z".

I'll toss in a random episode/movie/TV Special once a weekish. Not once have I watched Z straight through though.

Not as often as I'd like to, but it's probably better that way. A lot of things almost feel new again when I haven't seen them in a while, and there's no risk of getting burned out.

I do read and/or watch the series at least a few times a month, mostly so I can write about it. And when I get a new DVD, I try to watch it just to watch it (and make sure the disc works okay), but I end up feeling guilty for just having fun and not working on my various Dragon Ball projects. So sometimes I just play a disc in the background while working on something (Dragon Ball-related or otherwise).

I haven't really watched the series for a while. I watch a movie monthy or so. I really want to re watch the daimao arc thru the end of dragonball.

I think it's a true testament to the greatness of this series when a fair share of us don't watch it as much as we used to (or at all for long periods of time) and still come here to take part in discussing it. That being said, these days I go through the manga more often than the anime. I'm currently on Volume 14(viz #) of the Z portion.

It has been quite some time since I've watched any of it. I have a tendency to watch a TV series that I haven't seen in a long time; it's almost as if I'm watching it for the first time again because there were some details I've forgotten. But then I continue to watch and watch non-stop and it gets old again. I think the longer it's been since you've last watched something, the better it feels when you watch it again.

In the future, I do plan to watch the entire series everyday from beginning to end (from the beginning of Dragonball to the end of Z. I don't count GT). I will do this twice, once with the English dub and the other time in Japanese. This would really be the ultimate if a dragonbox set came out for Dragonball.

I rarely watch the series these days. I watched the first Dragon Ball movie about a month ago. Before that, I believe I had watched the last Dragon Box when that came out, which was about half a year before that.

I agree with TripleRach in that it's probably better that I don't watch the series that often so that I don't get burned out.

Started watching late july of last year when I got all the Dboxes up to the 6th one, but I stopped about two months ago and haven't watched since. I'm still in the middle of the 3rd Dbox, near the start of the Garlic Jr. saga. It's not that I got bored of DBZ, I just start doing other stuff and forget about it.. always happens. Until I get the Dragonball bug again, then I'll start watching again like crazy.

It's true. I also do the same with my favorite videogames. I make it a point to not play them over and over again as to not burn myself out from them. Then when I go back to play again it still feels somewhat new and discover things I hadn't discovered before.

I've never seen the entirety of 'Z' dubbed let alone the original Japanese version, although I prefer the latter. Being fortunate enough to acquire FUNimation's Dragon Boxes has me watching the series every weekend. At the moment, those awful Saiyans are approaching and Goku's getting familiar with Bubbles (this scene would've had me in stitches if it'd lasted any longer, Nozawa is awesome!)

I try to read the manga and watch the anime every year. One thing that I've never done is watch Dragon Ball Z directly after Dragon Ball, I usually watch Dragon Ball then wait a long time to watch Dragon Ball Z.

When I'm not playing my Budokai Tenkaichi 3 game on my ps2, I always have an episode of Dragon Ball/Z/GT playing on my tv in my room.

I tune in every other Saturday on CW to check out Kai, but since it keeps repeating it's not even worth it anymore. I also have the first Dragonbox so I'll pop that in if I'm bored. I've seen the series in full(Dragonball-GT) once and I've seen up to the Cell saga(the saga I wanted to watch) of Kai. I need to buy more stuff.
