Oh boy, I bet you'd love the prices for it in Australian stores then. $99 RRP.
I've seen it for $108 in New Zealand.

I know back in they day three episodes cost $20, but this was 2010! (Dear JB Hi-fi and Madman, Fuck you.

)
I also paid $30 for a pre-owned copy of Budokai 3- I wanted it badly okay!
That's so expensive for a set that comes with only 13 episodes, why haven't you decided to import instead?
People have asked me this many times.

I did end up importing Part 4 when the Yamamoto shit went down, but I find importing a bit of a hassle sometimes. Weird, I know, but I can't be bothered explaining..

Yeah, I always try to look for the best deals around for DB stuff.
I guess the most outrageous price I've payed was $40 for Kai Part 2 (a little much for 13 episodes) or $60 for Ultimate Tenkaichi (a game not worth that much money). I really have not gone over $60 for any of my Dragon Ball purchases.

Around 80 bucks for the hybrid Gohan and Gotenks figures.. Though I got them for Xmas one year I still think the size of the toys are no where near worth the money, same with the Broly Hybrid figure.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Outrageous prices? Hmmm... well, as I was under the impression that the season sets were the best we'd get for DBZ, buying the entire set (which I cannot recall the exact amount, but it was probably in the $50-ish range - give or take - when they were released) was rather outrageous given the quality.

Not yet!! Considered that I will import Tag Team from Japan with bonus ''PSP monitor duster in shape of Goku's Gi'' for 90 pounds (that probably equates 150 dollars) not counting the shipping fee..... But then I slapped my self and said: ''Get real dammit!!'' I did some research if the game will be worth that money and I think it won't. I can import 3 Gundam series games for this money and have half a year fun with them, than Budokai Tenkaichi with downed graphics only with 2 vs 2 option.

My most expensive purchases, well the Original Dragon Boxes.
I ended up spending nearly 2.5k and around 300 in shipping at the end of the summer.

I remember paying about $100 on all 10 Freeza Saga DVD Singles on ebay back when they were being released. That was a reasonable price back then too.

I used to drop nearly $20 a month for years to get Dragon Ball Z VHS new releases from an eBay seller. The best part was they always shipped them before the release date. 3 episodes a tape? If I only knew...

Way more reasonable than the $24.99 I paid for each of the 10 Freeza singles as they were coming out...
If you think about it, I paid nearly the equivalent amount for my JP Dbox The Movies.
