This is my answer two. Those page spreads are incredible, and it just oozed with style, had great pacing, intense fights, and overall a fantastic conclusion.

The 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, because of the crisp artwork, brilliant fight choreography, rivalry of Gokuu and Piccolo culminating in their awesome blow-for-blow brawl, and the conclusion of the Turtle-Crane rivalry arc. My favourite battle in the series is Gokuu vs. Piccolo.

It really depends on how you divide "sagas". There seems to be a billion different ways to do so.

That said, from the time Freeza comes to Earth to Gohan's defeat of Cell and its aftermath is my favorite portion of the story. Especially the Cell Games material. I usually like time travel tropes, but I like the way Toriyama dealt with it, and I like Gohan becoming the hero of the arc.

The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.
