Did anyone actually READ somewhere reliable that characters will be left out because the release date has been changed, or did they just ASSUME? :?

I never knew the Japanese voices were going to be available in the North American release. That'll be nice to have. :D
HAHA trust me you will laugh when you hear that scumbag's {Fat Buu} voice on the Japanese version.
The only time I've ever had the chance to hear it was in the North American Ultimate Battle 22 on PS1. But then again, it's just a few grunts...not really much to go on. :P

It really did. Guys please stay on-topic. Anyway I don't think there will be any extra characters left out. That was just me assuming, so guys don't worry everyone will be in the game.

I think that the main reason Atari went "back" as far as dates go, is the fact that November 16th is VERY close to the release of X-Box 360, and probably fears that a lot of kiddies will invest there.

I could be wrong, but it makes sense.

Oh, by the way, the French (PAL) version of Tenkaichi has the SAME cover the Japanese version does, except it has PAL instead of NTSC, and has Budokai Tenkaichi as a title instead of Spraking!

So, chances are good the US version is going to have the same cover.

Heh, and guys... if you haven't heard Freeza in Japanese, you haven't heard a THING. Freeza's Japanese voice the ULTIMATE DBZ Japanese vocal experience (while Masako Nosawa's power up scream is really lame--sorry Masako, it worked when Goku was 14 years old, but when he's 35, it's really, really lame)

My birthday is Oct.21. Anyway I heard Freeza's voice in Japanese and it is funny. He actually sounds like a nice guy, but deep down inside he is twisted. I can't wait to beat the crap out of him in his Jap voice.

Also if you hear him power up in his Jap voice he sounds even more funny

I still remember his laugh when he thinks he will see Goku, and sees Gohan instead (on Namek). It was pure mockery-evil-like laugh. The top.

That laugh was unreplaceable when you think about it. The thing I am lookin forward to is beating the crap out of Guldo, and Chaitzu to see the most battle damage they can receive.

You can't wait to beat Super Saiya-Jin x4 Gogeta with Roshi. I don't even think I could do that, but the other way around would be quite easy.

I'm pretty sure SSJ4 Gogeta would go easy on Roshi (the Goku side at least :P .).

There is no way that Roshi would win, but he is immortal so Gogeta would unfuse before they could really obliverate him right.

If you're posting a single sentence as a response in a thread... don't post. You don't have anything worthwhile to say in a single sentence. Furthermore, I don't care to read any lame theoretical versus discussions. Please stay on-topic.

The way I see it, there are only two possible reasons why the game would be re-announced at an earlier release date. Either the game is so close to being finished that it doesn't require any extra time, (now that is wishful thinking) or the company big wigs simply decided the game was coming out early, half-assed or not.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. *crosses fingers*

Watching some of those Gamespot videos, I'd almost believe it was rushed (Although I'm honestly only basing this off of the quality of the cinematics they were boasting, which aren't exactly Budokai 1 quality.) There's nothing wrong with a little polish, but I guess by bumping up the game they hope to separate themselves from the holiday rush. Nintendo's DS lineup has been delayed to November-December, and XBOX 360 is coming out around then as well I believe.

So it makes sense as far as grabbing the audience when they're not occupied, but I'm just worried that perhaps it won't be everything it could have been just like Deus.

...That is I mean to say I share a similar sentiment as Deus, not that Deus himself hasn't been everything he can.

*ehem*

Sorry for that... now that it's out of my system...

I doubt a month will matter that much in the end one way or the other. By this point the game is already in the polishing phase anyway, so it's only touch up work. I mean, the bug testing would have been over before the first 'final version review copies' were released and they're already out.

That said... I know what you mean aobut the cutscenes. The one with Raditz was just... baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. He stood there dancing like he had to pee the entire time! But I've seen others that looked better... that may have been a 'place holder' animation for the actual cutscene... I hope.

I am really hoping that the reason why they changed the release date, was because they felt asthough everything was complete. Unfortunately I agree wit Mugenmidget. I believe the game was rushed a little bit, and that isn't good at all.

I still think the game will be good, when it comes out, but there is not specific reason why the game's release date was pushed back. We will just have to wait and see, and hope for the best.
