He probably could, but after using 20, he was heavily drained. It seems implied he didn't know how far he could take Kaiou-ken above 10, but he seemed to think 20 was already a great risk. So I think there's enough room to believe it can go beyond x20.

But Kaio-ken x20 didn't damage his body like Kaio-ken x3 did. Why didn't Goku use Kaio-ken beyond x20, if he could still handle it, but with the cost of heavily damaging his body, like he did against Vegeta? Because he can't go beyond x20, IMO.

But he hadn't used Kaioken x20 as long as he did x3. Kaioken x20 was a short little combo to try and finish Freeza quickly. But when he used Kaioken x3 against Vegeta he used it for the later half of the fight when he realise x2 wasn't enough. Or that's at least how I remember it. So x20 may have done the same eventually.

Even if it didn't do the same damage as KKx3 did against Vegeta, he said KKx20 drained him (presumably from the Kamehame-ha), so I imagine it wouldn't have mattered if he tried something above that at that point to match the damage of what KKx3 did to him.

What I'm saying is KKx20 probably would do the same damage as KKx3 its just he didn't use KKx20 as long.
