They get the story of the manga and don't have a bunch of crap translated lines skewing any discussions they try to have with people?

Seems fine to me. I've introduced people to the series through Kai already and they seem to understand the story more coherently and maintain interest easier.

There's quite a few youngsters who will grow up with Kai.

The Ratings on Vortexx and Nicktoons are quite high.

Highest on Vortexx:1.247 million viewers
Highest on Nicktoons: 750 Thousand Viewers

AND DBZKai is THE Highest rated show EVER on Nicktoons AND Vortexx.

I cant wait for the kids who watch DBZKai on Vortexx to grow up!

They'll grow up with fond memories of Kai just like most grew up with fond memories of Z. Some of them will become more dedicated fans like the posters here and others will just consider it a nostalgic piece of their childhood.

I don't think things like it being more accurate or well-dubbed means anything at all to 10-year-olds. I know i sure as hell didn't care about any of that back when I watched every single episode of Z on Cartoon Network, even as it took a few months for five minutes to pass.

I suppose the aforementioned "more dedicated fans to be" will appreciate how close it was to the original as things are a bit more straightforward. Then again, you can't discount the possibility some of those kids have big brothers or sisters or even parents who might want to show them the Dragon Ball they grew up with. That's a pretty natural thing to do really.
